Carl is the GOAT..... Poor Ryan, trying to make all that new tech work. The problem is that he needs to throw a Ryan engraved ball. Personalization is what brings the best out of your balls. 😎😎
Hey packy you influenced me to switch to two handed. The first 2 weeks I almost shot my first 600 series and I shot a new high game. Lefties stand strong. Thank you for posting. Keep up the good work and have a good day.
Oh my God the Barnes Jawline is jumpscaring me. You get Ryan from a certain angle and he looks exactly like Chris. Every time it happens my brain is like "CHRIS BARNES?!?!??¿!" for like half a second.
This reminds me of the time I found an old storm ball at Goodwill for $3. I believe it was a Storm La Nina, and actually fairly versatile for its age. Could hook it and go straight if I needed it to. Had to redrill it so all in it only cost $33 for a decent ball that I still use from time to time. Shot a 250 with it once, not too bad.
Ryan Barnes looked like a good kid. He had good looks, confidence, and probably a good scholar at WSU. Then, Packy happened. Will Ryan ever be the same after that beatdown? That said, they both have some work to do to be as good as Brad and Kyle. :D
Yellow Dots were the GOAT in the pre-urethane era. Just like those select Purple Hammers of late, you wanted to look at serial numbers for the "best" ones.
This is a opinion of mine that will never change. On a typical house shot i will ALWAYS take a ball like plastic or old yellow dots reaction ALL DAY EVERYDAY over the strong balls that are out now. What i saw was pack controlling the pocket for the most part the whole game and barnes trying to fight with bad ball reaction and truly never having control of the pocket. Reactives are over rated for your typical house shots and i will say that as long as i bowl. For instance i carried a 221 average with a clear plastic ball over the summer with plastic. No thats not going to win high average however i was consistant all summer with my 650s to 700s rarely ever went under even because that plastic ball gave me CONTROL ! FYI for anyone reading this if you decide to try throwing plastic or og yellow dots etc be sure you get 16 that extra pound makes a huge differance when throwing those types of balls. Pyramind makes a plastic ball with a huge asym core you can buy for like 80 bucks. Really love the vids. Keep up the good work. Also thought i would let everyone know i am a one hander with around 400 revs 70° of axis rotation and around 5° of tilt and average around 16 to 18mph speed.
I have a nice old Ace ball that’s a 16, but it would cost more to have it plugged and re-drilled than buying a used ball from my pro shop, lol. Might just plug it myself and hand drill it.
Hey this is for Packy or Via I am more comfortable in the hop style approach idk why but i physically cant make my feet take normal steps 1 handed. Any tips for how you manage to make it work at a taller height (me being 6'4) and do you guys ever have any knee pain? I am 27 and did wrestle through high school and serve 6 years in the military so i might have some extra problems but just something ive been experiencing recently ! Thank you for any help!
Pretty cool video. I wanted to get back into bowling in Northern Idaho and a really good lefthander bowled a nice 269 game in practice right next to me. Me being right handed I thought I'd get to know Anthony and see if he'd be willing to sell me a used ball. I'd redrill it and it would be like a new ball, right. Well not only did he give me a bowling ball but he he brought 4 used Storm balls of different varieties. He said help yourself to any or all of them. I said could I have them all and he said yes ! I offered to give him $20 per ball but said no, just enjoy getting back into bowling. What super nice guy. A few weeks later after I had two of the balls fitted to my spec's I bowled a 289 game. 11th frame I threw it good but right away I knew it was going to be a 10 pin and sure enough it was. Then someone in downtown Spokane broke into my friends car and stole one of my two bowling balls and shoes and bag and wrist glove. Unfortunately they stole the 289 ball and left the other less aggressive ball. I then bought a couple brand new balls but the best I've done with them is a 279 each. Being 68 now and having not bowled for 17 years, it was fun to get back into bowling. Thank you Anthony from Course D' Alane, Idaho !
Buddy I am 53 years old haven't really bowled since the early 2000s love your videos I have a black angle and an angle Ld that I would love to send to you to make video out of. They are yours if you want them. How do I get them to you?
@@TheHouseBowling When that yellow dot was made it was outside the Brunswick family, so does it still count? C300 and Brunswick were fierce competitors back then. Find an old Brunswick Petraglia LT-48 another money ball from the stone age.
Nice haircut, looking less like Shaggy. Ryan looking more like Shaggy these days. Yellow dot was the money ball back in the stone age (my time). I'd say its mine but its clearly not. Last I saw mine was in '84 when it got a huge gouge practicing at another center. They said they'd fix it but when I went back a few weeks later, they couldn't find it. Oh well, maybe Carl stole it from there patched it up and put his name on it. I call dibs.
Bro I bought a couple lane 1 balls from a yard sale for 10 bucks. It was a buzzsaw and cherry bomb. Devin was the original owner engraved on them. Devin if you read this...... What's up!!!!!
yeah RB sucked today, but honestly who wouldn't give a lot to have his power game normally. That man is typically a beast and fun to watch in a tournament.
I like sending my 16 lb 1978 yellow dot bleeder up between 2 and 5 on the fresh and up between 5 and 10 on heavy burn. People go nuts thinking I'm gonna dump it in the gutter lol.
@@TheHouseBowling I was recently looking into buying a ball. The "cheap" one are still around $100. Btw. I recently realized I've been a two hand bowler forever. Though I need to change my hand positions.
@@TheHouseBowling the Yellow Dot was a game changer way back when you were a gleam in your dad’s eye. The Legend was a re-release from around 1992. I rocked the blue on super dry.
