The old ephemera you found after the 10 mark, there is an entire niche out there that will buy lots for artists making: junk journals, collages, mixed-media art ETC. May not be a super fast sale, but it will absolutely sell, even that box of the ratty items you passed on :) They LOVE things that are dated and that have character. ;)

I bought a large box of coats for $4 There was about 10 jackets in there. I sold a Schott black biker jacket for $350 A Steve and Barry’s 1960’s Brooklyn New York boxing jacket , specific to a Brooklyn gym It had a lot of history, sold for $250 I have another black HD jacket for sale @ $315

I was at a St. Vincent dePaul's in my town. I was looking through the pet section and found a "pond pump" in a box...half price was $2.50. My daughter was into pond stuff big time so I figured, for the price, it was worth the gamble. I get home, open the box and a pond pump was NOT what was in side. Inside were 5 brand new, unopened bottles of doTERRA brand essential oils. I called my sis in law who deals in doTERRA and she said what I had would have cost me $150 if I had purchased them through a dealer. So, for $2.50, it was an unexpected good deal! :)

My last great find was in my own knife drawer I found an old pair of scissors I have had for years & used regulars... CUTCO Brand... Near had ever paid any mind to Brand... I told Kayla about this... I still giggle at myself not realizing this over the many decades of having them... About $100 estimate I'd say.

I finally found a tag sale near me today and for $2 I got a milk crate full of 33 records. Most are what I consider "hair bands" but had some good old rock n roll as well. All the bands I listened to growing up and I'm 55. Now I just need to get a record player😃

One of my more exciting finds recently was actually from clearance at Walmart. They had jeans for $1 a pair. Bought the 11 they had. Sold the first pair within a few days. Made my money back plus $15 on 1 pair. Now it’s all profit. Not a ton but it’s an easy list since they’re NWT. Used the profit to buy the same jeans for myself in the style I like from eBay because they’re no longer in my store 😝

So I'm only a part time picker but I did go to an estate sale years and years ago that started all this . I bought a container full of vintage and old even some Civil War holsters and some , where the whole gun belts with 2 holsters , and the gun belt and some bullets even in some of the Holsters.. I think I bought them for like a $100 for the container and I sold most of them on eBay and I profited probably $4000. I've been addicted to picking ever since.

I am not sure, but I would have to say the two best items I sold was a pair on Timberland work boots for $120 and paid $20 at a yard sale and a Epson projector for $60 and sold for $1,000. I do pretty good when I can but love the hunt of the sales and the conversating with the people as well. And I also thought the same with the $40 lol. :)

My last best sale on eBay was my 17” of my hair that I cut off. I grew it memory of my gram to donate and was upset when the girl told me that they charge the poor ppl for our hair to have a wig made-That should be given to them since it’s donated. Sold for $159. W/in 30 mins of listing They use it for weaving. And it was a guy who bought it😂😂😂

I didn't see you check the condition of the records. Some of that genre are used by dj's and are badly scratched. Please let us know if the vinyl was in good shape. Thanks and happy hunting. I purchased a lot of about 100 hip hop and gangster rap for $50. I sold several at $50 - $40 etc. Most around $15- $20. I even sold some scratched ones locally for $1 each. Peace and Good Health.
