This is my week 9 of my garage sale video games and collectibles hunting series.
This week I find a special edition Darth Vader Sony PSP, an N64 and a Nintendo DS console along with video games for the PS4, Xbox 360, Gameboy Advance and the Wii. I also find a few vintage MOTU figures to add to my collection.

I'm glad people sometimes who are having yard sales decide to look up prices on games before selling them. Cuz too many effing resellers are going to yard sales buying everything up for dirt cheap and leaving nothing for people like me who just want to find games for a fair price to KEEP and enjoy. Idk if this guy is a reseller, this is my first time coming across this channel and haven't finished the whole vid. But I'm hoping people having yard sales continue to somewhat do this to keep those greedy resellers away.

Hi Josh. Thanks for checking out the video and for commenting. For the record, I’m a collector…not a reseller. I have several videos on my channel where I show my various collections. I agree with you. Everyone has a smart phone these days, so there’s absolutely no excuse for sellers not to already know how much money they want for their games (or anything else for that matter) before the yard sale starts. I personally find it awkward when I’m asked to “make an offer” on their stuff. Thanks again for watching. Cheers

Yeah, this was a really great week. I love the PSP so finding the Darth Vader special edition version was pretty awesome for me. The PSP games were pretty good too. Have a good one. Cheers

Yeah, it sounded promising when she said that they had one but it ended up being a Power Ranger. Another viewer noticed a vintage Skeletor that I missed in that first box. I wish I had seen it at the time. I love the PSP. I’m really happy to have that model in my collection. Have a great weekend. Cheers M

Nice pickups especially that PSP lot at 30$ which was a steal! You must be living in a quiet town to do porch pickups and leave money under the mat! I can tell you that nobody in Montreal does that for fear of having their money stolen lol! Great video and keep up the good work!

Hi Dan. I love the PSP and am so happy to funny add the Darth Vader variant to my collection. What’s funny about the porch pickup was that I met her and had a face to face conversation with her outside at a garage sale a few weeks earlier. We made arrangements for the the deal and then she suggested the old money under the mat trick. I think she popped out right after I left to collect the money though…LoL.

My biggest pet peeve is when yard sale sellers price their items using eBay listings or comps. Usually yard sales are meant for quick cheap items, not retail price. It's like a thrift store. I dunno, just my opinion.

I could agree with you more. The thrift stores have gotten really bad lately. I was at one where they were asking for a few hundred for a Sega Dreamcast without all the necessary cords to play it. I’ve really cut back on how often I go now. Garage sale are generally a much better option. Thanks for commenting.

How do you sell your low dollar video game pick ups. Bundle, individually or trade?

Hi James. My first step is to trade with a few of my collector friends. Then I would just bundle 5 or more games together and price them to sell locally. Since I usually get them for a good price initially, I don’t mind giving the buyer a deal as well…so it’s a win for everyone. I sell the more expensive games individually but at an attractive price.
