Indeed. If i went back to my middle twenties and think of 30 year old songs i would arrive at the middle 60's when flower power was not even around. Garbage songs fit right in today and cant be dated as easiely as songs from 60's.
That was a incredible show!!! My 3rd show in 3 years. Shirley is still such a incredible performer and the boys still sound incredible. I was there with my daughter and Shirley and the boys never disappoint!!! ❤
Back in the nineties when I was going through some shit in my life Shirley and the boys helped me get through it. I love to see them still performing and shredding stages.
@@vovyklembergsohn1778 Literally, shredding means to tear something up. In English vernacular, "tearing it up" became to mean that someone who was performing was doing a great job. "tearing it up' morphed into 'shredding' which is most commonly used by Snowboarders and Skateboarders now. So now one can say, "Man, she's tearing it up tonight!" or "She's shredding the stage tonight!" to mean she's putting on a great performance.
I’m 69 years old, have seen hundreds of bands and performers come and go. Garbage and Shirley Manson ruled then, rule now, and will rock on forever. No pretense, just damn hard music.
Just unbelievable!!! Excellent live band. No wonder this band has a loyal fan base who can remember the lyrics to a song that was written 20 years ago (1998).
I remember my older brother took me to their concert back in 1999 (summer) because he no one to go with, so he took me. I was just turning 13 that following year when I saw the lead singer I said to myself she’s hot!! I’ll marry her one day lmao!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 but that was back then so...this song & the world is not enough is still my favorite
Garbage fans in arizona. Cool. I love how the band just feeds off of the audience like vampires. I know it will be a good show if I hear the audience singing. They just seem to come alive. Ive seen shows on YT where the audience is almost asleep or waiting for the main act and poor garbage still has to go through the motions. Part of being a working musician i guess. Cant always have good days. Who has the rest of the show?
Yep. Almost 20 years ago I bought my PS2 and played that game for hours. Never knew who did this song, so I'm kinda late to the Garbage party. Making up for it now.
Yep, drifting the 180sx (my 240sx hatchback, at the time) in the replay videos. This song goes perfect to it. Miss and love the early Gran Turismo series.
Dont forget Eric Avery. I know he is not officially part of the band and more or less a hired bass hand player for live tours but for most Garbage fans i think it would be safe to say that we consider him part of the band. Just as i thought of Daniel Shulman being in the band in the early days when he played bass.
Ну не знаю насчет деревенского клуба - в культовом клубе Marquee играли такие группы , как : The Rolling Stones, Yardbirds , Pink Floyd , The Who , Дэвид Боуи , Led Zeppelin , Soft Machine , Sweet, Van der Graaf Generator, Genesis, Джетро Тулл , Dire Straits , AC / DC , Джими Хендрикс , Queen ,Yes , The Police , The Cure , Joy Division , Adam и Ants , The Damned. , Generation X , Sex Pistols и многие другие , там записывали и записывают альбомы , а многие нормально записанные лайвы с этой сцены являются золотым фондом рок-музыки .
