I rate L7's Bricks are Heavy and Sonic Youth's Dirty higher than Siamese Dream, but the Pumpkins probably sold more copies. Nevermind certainly did :D.

Gotta admit, it's very disappointing to not hear "Why Do You Love Me" here. I would have been shocked if I had attended. For me, it's one of their finest, and a now-classic Garbage must-have. 😔

Great gig. Shirley Manson is 57; Steve Marker (guitar) is 64; Butch Vig (drums) is 68; Duke Erikson (guitar) is 72. It comes to us all. I don't know who the bassist is, as according to Wikipedia "In May 2023, longtime touring and recording bass guitarist Eric Avery left the band to commit to a reunited Jane's Addiction.".

Daniel Shulman is back on bass. He was their touring bassist from 1995-2005. He was never credited as a band member since he didn't play on any albums. Steve and Duke played bass on the albums.

I love Eric Avery, but Daniel Shulman never became less sympathetic, either, including his style never became "obsolete" or anything... but to the contrary... the vanguard Eric Avery's playing was -- eventually -- a good replacement of Daniel Shulman's... I mean, now he's back... cool! Eric Avery is, nevertheless, an amazing artist... a perfect bassist the best for Garbage... which doesn't lessen Shulman's virtue this is how complicated / simple it is :)

I read this (knowing it was really Garbage live) as "garbage live in West Palm Beach" which has to also be true, altho good people live there as well. Oh yea, and Garbage the band is kinda still boring to me. Its cool that Matt Chamberlain played drums one of their albums tho..
