Shirley Manson just saying... Unique voice and outstanding performance, always. Thank you. I really appreciate your reaction. Suggestion; listen to "I think I'm paranoid". ✌️
Great song! Saw them in concert and was pretty close to the stage. Shirley Manson had that look all evening like she was gonna slit your throat if you turned your back! The band was very creative live, and added content to the recordings! Thanks for sharing!
Love this song, and Stupid girl another great song and Queer. Shirley is an awesome Scottish rocker! Love her and Garbage since they came out on the scene in 93, when I was 18. I Still rock to them at 49! ❤ love your reactions 😀 yes Heart another great band, they came out before my time but when I was a teen I started listening to them, love ❤️
I got to see them a few times in their prime and they were awesome! She always put on a great show and her vocals were so clear like the studio version. Shirley is hard to take your eyes off of. I love cool, jaded women.
Butch Vig, the drummer, produced a lot of the grunge and alternative records in the 90s. He became tired of the depressive and self centered songs, that Garbage made this as a form of «parody» or something like that. Fantastic band that’s still going strong, and just released a new album.
This was their SNL performance. Back when the show was relevant. Their other they played...was also powerful. She does have the IT. Gawd...that was so long ago. By I have to say, they never play it..My Lover's Box...first album...GAWD that song......listening in the dark..
Nice one. Some Garbage suggestions - from the back catalogue "Why Do You Love Me?" or "Cherry Lips" or "Push It." From the new album "No Gods, No Masters" or "The Men Who Rule The World." Great band.
Great song from a great band; appreciate your take on it. You might try "Push It" or "Man on a Wire" (or any song really) from the live performance in Paris from 2012.
@@reemclaughlin4260 I followed her forever. I know why she quit. You CANNOT argue she was manufactured. She certainly decided to stop playing along but that doesn't take away from it. I have no ill will toward her.
@@reemclaughlin4260 What I mean by "manufactured" is Vig set out to have a Debbie Harry. It was purposeful, not organic. I love this band but it's manufactured. Shirley is a Scottish singer. It's like how The Clash formed. It was a boy band. She was searched out. They didn't grow up playing in the garage.
Idk if you see this or if you still do these kind of reactions but I just saw your A National Acrobat Reaction. Since you seemed to vibe with that you should check out A Symptom of the Universe by them. It starts out a little heavy, but the last 2 minutes specifically are 🔥🔥
I agree with ya 100%, Ab about the comparisons of confidence between this girl & Ann!!! An hunny, if you truly wanna see a female singer with LOADS of "I don't give a fuck!" Confidence, then you just gotta check out the ONE & the ONLY Beth Hart!!! I LOVE BETH HART, especially her whole entire LIVE at the Paradiso concert! Please do me the honors of watchin' you watch her for the first time!!! I'd be BEYOND ECSTATIC!!! 😉👍💕👍😉
Duke Erikson, Steve Marker, & Butch Vig - all stellar producers in their own right. But getting Shirley Manson to front was both the icing AND the filling on this supergroup cake.
the Riot Grrrls of the 1990s were amazing!!! you have seen Alanis Morrisette, i believe. my personal favourite was Poe... she has brutal lyrics (a lot of angry feminist music was super creative, too) but an amazing smooth voice... her delivery is the threat, not the lyrics or the music or even the sound of her voice... you just have to see. :-) ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-hxbG9z2YV0k.html
