Probably can’t speak English let alone hand signals. But the guy giving the signals was pretty well useless too. The “Only” guy the driver should be looking at it out his own mirror, not the other idiot who’s waving like he’s on fire.
lets hope the company pays them handsomely for what they do, and how hard they work for the company. Because if there is anyone that can afford it, its a large company or the city.
Insane. I can't believe there's places that still do this. We have an automated cart collection system that comes by once a week. Whatever you can fit in the can gets picked up by the robotic arm and dumped into the truck. Anything else needs to be arranged through private haulers. I haven't seen madness like this since the 1970's.
They will pick up stuff like that every week here, they burn the trash here. Plus a lot of stuff doesn't last on the side of the road, you will see "junk" dealers every week hunting. A push mower on the side of the road, is basically a $100 bill.
Normally, each house gets ONE can pick up. This is obviously a periodically scheduled bulk pickup day where they inform people to NOT PUT ANYTHING OUT FRONT THAT THEY DONT WANT THROWN AWAY, INCLUDING CANS. That can looked like an old POS, so the owner likely was ready for it to go so they put it to one last use.
A lot of the private carting companies higher, a lot of guys who barely earn their CDL, who speak little to no English so they can give them the least pay and the least benefits to do this type of work
why? They pay for pickup and the crew gets paid also for doing their job, no "tips" required, it's not like they're doing the home owner a favor not to mention they don't even empty the plastic cans, they just tossed the whole thing in.
Coming from a garbage man.. I do GARBAGE, don’t you pay someone else to do demolition/construction work on your house? You pay them to work for you, it’s on y’all to work the removal price. Want me in the deal, bring a couple twenties.
I’d leave all y’all’s garbage, write you a tag, call my office myself. You would stare at it until u get up one day and drive to the landfill yourself. And realize they’re gonna charge you $200. 😂 but now you’re on our bad side.
Even in the cold wet weather and rain your service is deeply appreciated thanks don't work to hard love and appreciate you guys thanks you guys rock buy them a soda or something they deserve alot of credit great job as usual way to go ! Joe
Psh I'm 26 and I wish I could retire already I love traveling which is something I wish i could do all the time and not worry about work I hate working feeling like im on repeat I don't wanna wait till I'm 65 to do the things I could do now trying to work on being financially free
That chest of drawers being thrown out looks nicer than what I have and use now. It's why people drive around collecting stuff put out for the trash, before the trash man gets there.
You’re a person after my own heart. As a connoisseur of junk and an opportunist of great finds, I couldn’t bear to see that being crushed inside the truck like that.
When I was 19 years old I had an auto paper route in LA where all the very rich people lived like Ronald Reagan for example by the Rivera Country Club and I furnished my first apartment with the things people put on the curb .I even talked someone out of a 1966 t bird that was just growing weeds around it ,They were grateful to give it a nice home.
Your tax dollars at work. They are not as nice here in Kitchener, Ontario. We have a limit on weight and number of stacks. Anything more is left behind.
Boy, I remember those days out in the rain snow picking up peoples trash. I hope everyone that reads this goes out and gives their trash and recycling people a tip. You should do at least once a month 1020 bucks. Trust me you’ll see how much different when they pick up your trash, you could put out as much as you want if you tipped them all the time they will take everything in anything I used to work for waste management, and now that I’m older, I tipped my recycling guy and my trash guy once a month they respect me so much. If I forget to put out my trash or recycling they come out my driveway take my cans, dump it and then put my cans back since I’m disabledsince I tipped them every month just in case, if I forget to put my stuff out, I’m being disabled always tip your post office person when they come to your home your trash and recycling you’ll see big difference happy holidays, everyone
Whatever community this is, you are damn lucky to have waste haulers that still do this. I have to make special arrangements and pay extra to have this done. For what my tax dollars pay for vs. service, is appalling. I may consider moving.
This is a dump day, you can tell everyone has out large items. Depends on the location, here they will pick up large loads like that every week. Outside of "construction" waste stuff that they think was done by a contractor. Other places have 1 day out of the month, or as little as 1-2 times a year.
@@rayray8687 Can't do it in my city, either, which I discovered when I put the wooden remains of an old garden bench on the street and it sat there for 3 weeks. I called the city about it and they said it was probably because it looked like building materials and they don't take that "ever". Then she told me to just put it in the garbage can and they'll take it. I got a good chuckle out of that one.
ja det der med at sorterer sit affald bruges slet ikke der over det skal bare på lossepladsen det hele, sådan nogle svin, men sådan er det over alt i verden hvor amerikanerne har været
This is whar saddens me no recycling and everything just thrown in . A bin with rubbish gone into the back and not emptied. Our binmen of 30+ years ago emptied contents inside truck and returned it to be refilled again. No one into repurposing things without smashing them up , and wood which could be reused? That truck was hungry mashing up contents of everything inside.
Phenomenal as always excellent outstanding brilliant they deserve alot of credit tons of it let's honor and appreciate the trash men who proudly serve us your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated even in the cold wet weather just hard working men buy them a soda or something they deserve it don't work to hard appreciate you guys its a service we can't live without right great job people you should be proud its a shame seeing all the stuff being thrown away right ?!!! Joe
Our waste management only collects what is in our trash cans. Anything like this would be collected only if you paid an additional collection fee and the owners would have to be on site when collected. If not, you have to haul it to the dump yourself.
In most parts of the country, you’re definitely not wrong at all. A Major metropolis, such as Chicago, NYC, and maybe Los Angeles are a little different.
Of course, im in the US(Chicago) and all that wood would be great fire wood for the back yard for me. Or even reuse it, since after Covid everything shot through the roof and wood is not cheap.
Democrats can’t even light a birthday candle without burning down half a state or island. They think that the air is way too filthy to warm yourself with anything that makes any real sense. Pay a carbon tax and then you can warm yourself.🙄
If our garbage truck driver pulled up 2 that he woulda laughed and drove off !! Anything ya can't fit in the can goes 2 the dump and you're on your own !!
AMEN TO THAT BROTHER.........I CAN'T BELIEVE THEY TOOK ALL THAT STUFF IF THAT WE ME ON THAT TRUCK I WOULD HAVE DROVE RIGHT BY,,,,,,THE ARROGANCE OF THOSE MORONS IN THAT HOUSE.........
@@yardlimit8695 arrogance? lmao first off, people put that stuff out not just for the garbage pick up, but for anyone thats driving by and would like to take it. Secondly if I or anyone else is paying for their trash to get picked up, you bet your sweet ass your throwing all of that out. Whether its a town that automatically picks up anything you leave out front, or like many where you can call in and let them know you'll be tossing that out and pay for it(which they could have done in this video). Not to mention in many places(Like my town) where once a month they pick up anything you want for free... refrigerators, cabinets, sinks, toilets, glass, plastic, metal, etc. There are also many garbage men that are good, decent people and will do you a solid and take it for you that one time.
Once a year, our collection service offers to pick up anything bulky that would not normally be picked up on a regular collection day. Additionally, the normal limit on how much they pick up is waived. This appears to be a special collection day.
I'm working on a project right now and could use most of those cabinets and other wood!!!!!!! Even the toilet is re-usable!!!!! It makes me sick to see the waste!!!
My city doesn't clean up piles of crap like this. It has to be sorted and fit in side load bins. The rest you can take to a transfer station and pay per pound to dump it.
Affordable Waste Systems as always does an unbelievable job. No questions asked. This absolutely got my vote without a doubt. I love it. Great Job. Nicely Done! 💯💪👌👍🥇😊
seems like a slow way to load trash,, around my house bulk construction waste gets collected on special times and is picked up with front end loaders and dump trucks
This is unbelievably crude and outdated‼️ Our city uses specially designed dump trucks with a crane for non garbage/trash. Only requires 2 men, a driver and the crane operator. Neither man touches the material being collected. MUCH quicker and easier than what these men are having to do. The crane does all the work.
Where the heck is this?? I pay 6K a year in taxes, no kids in school, 1 truck I put 5K miles a year on and they won't pick up one trash can unless I pay another monthly fee... Wherever this is, they just mix everything and either burn it (I hope) or put it in a landfill; Seems awfully wasteful.
Where I live we have what are called Free Days.. This so that people can spend the day cruising finding free stuff they can use. There is also a full time RE-STORE. Where recycled building materials can be donated then sold cheaply. Furniture can be donated to many charities. Muricans are so damn wasteful.
thing is, where these kinds of trucks are used it is generally accepted that you don't put anything in bin you aren't willing to lose, because they are told to take everything that isn't a standardized trash bin, which none of what they took was one, so these people knew they would likely lose their bins putting them out like that.
@@Oatmealism Nah, most people would not assume that. Those people are going to be confused when they see their bins are gone. It not like that in every and most towns/cities, and thats not something most people know.
That was a perfectly good dresser before throwing it in the rain. It should have been sold or gone to thrift. Folks with those humongous piles of renovation waste need to rent a dump trailer or take it to the dump themselves. Unless this is some kind of community bulk day then I guess that's sorta an exception. Our trash company would never let you put that much on the road but there is another truck the city sends out that will pick up bulk piles once a year.
Doesn’t the city know anything about bulk pick up? How about the driver getting off his ass and helping them instead of sitting in the truck he definitely needs to go to school and learn how to drive these are thev guys that shouldn’t have CDL licenses.
These trucks are not made for that type of material to be thrown in them 😂 wth town is this!?!? Every town I’ve seen has had basically a dump truck to haul this type of material to a landfill!
Those piles of construction waste would never have been accepted into the biweekly garbage pickup where I live. They would have made me take it to the dump myself or call for a construction bin at my own cost.
i know that this is the US but fucking hell all that pile of shit with furniture and carpets etc is just too much hard work and hassle, here in norway this would not happen. the workers would just leave it there and let the person take it to a sorting area for that kinda stuff.
why in the world dont they recycle it. In denmark we recycle our waste. We sort it in wood, plastic, metal and many other fractions so that the waste can be recycled, instead of just throwing it all in the same hole.
