I might pass this one on to one of my league's junior players. They wanted to run the garchomp ex deck but didnt do well in out last league challenge with it thought it was their first time playing it. But at the same time, because we didn't have the turnout we usually do, they did also end up playing masters players in addition to the other junior. Oddly enough ended up playing against them in the last round while playing your alakazam/weezing deck (felt like i needed to take a step back and play something more fun rather than super meta).

I’ve been rocking this combo and it’s been fun, I also run Glimmora ex for bench control and 1 copy of claydol to drop big hitter pokes down to 10hp

Still waiting for Garchomp ex, Garchomp V and baby galarian zapdos 😅 They synergise nicely and all have free retreat. Anyways, great video as always 😁 Also the last game was very close and really interesting!

Always appreciate more Garchomp decks to try. It's amazing the unexpected cards you find to play with this Garchomp, especially cause Garchomp really hasn't had the best partners just yet and Garchomp decks, usually just have low damage output. I still cross my fingers and hope at some point, hopefully at some point, maybe in one of this years main sets, they introduce a powerful Fighting attacker, one that does a good amount of damage, making up for Garchomps low damage output. that could help push Garchomp to a higher tier and become a great deck, that is all i ask for, give Garchomp a chance to become a good deck in a higher tier, hasn't had a chance in quite a while to become a great card.

Ya, I am hoping Garchomp gets a lot better partners. I have not tried Tyranitar, but Ting-Lu and Goroudon from Paradox Rift both have higher damage in the 220-240 range and can use grant. These can be good, but are completely dependent on Garchomp for energy and if they don't have it they fall down flat. At least with Tyranitar it can survive a hit whereas the others can not.

@@zacharyjackson7584 Yeah, i may consider giving Tyranitar a try with Garchomp, may be 2 stage 2's in one deck, but so is Charizard and Pidgeot and we all know that works well, but at least Tyranitar can indeed take a hit unlike the other attackers Garchomp usually uses. Well except for when Roaring moon decides to knock out a tyranitar with it's one hit KO attack.

Could it be possible to use Roaring Resolve Lucario to get more damage with Tyranitar Ex since it requires your bench pokemon to have damage

Lucario would be a fourth evolution line in a deck that already runs 3; Gengar can be cheated into play without evolving and puts damage on itself to activate the effect of Tyranitar Ex's second attack

I love the deck . Just feel like it's missing something. Tried it out twice and haven't got the proper opponent 🤔. I won but felt too easy . Otherwise definitely worth making.
