the reason Deliveroo drivers have so much trouble is because they only hire foreigners making 1000 euro minimum per week with barely any overhead or tax and when they go back to their home country's the money has double the buying power. they are seen as invaders to every estate taking the best jobs that most 16-21 year olds could reasonably get without leaving the country . im fully qualified with a decade of experience and i don't make that.deliveroo has a policy whether intentional or not to create racial tension for the purpose of free marketing and political pressure , they don't even obey the rules of the road or come under half the scrutiny that taxis come under or have any regulation. other delivery drivers companies don't have these problems at all . my friend worked deliveries for 5 years for a indian restaurant in rough areas and never had any problems .the youth gangs dont sell the mopeds after they steal them, they burn them on the street corners, i've seen it twice .deliveroo the company is the problem, because you couldn't design a system more perfect for brewing real hatred unless you tried. im in 30s and use a e scooter to go to work if they see your snickers work trousers you never get bothered by the local scum. the drivers protests are part of their jobs.
