I fished off that pier with my dad when I was little. Looks like it has been rebuilt since then. This was in the early 80’s. I’m 50 now and my dad passed away almost 6 years ago. This video brought back good memories. Thanks.

Not sure why the content creator didn't reply to you. Yes, the pier has been rebuilt, maybe more than once since then. Others were destroyed, too.

I have been going to Garden City for probably 12 years now. I fell in love with it the very first time I ever went and I have never went anywhere else. Garden City has a special place in my heart and watching your videos near the pier and Atlantic Avenue helps me keep that feeling like it was the first time I’ve ever been there. I’ll be going there this July of course lol

September is not going to be here quick enough. Thank you for another great video. When I was there in October (a week after Hurricane Ian), the South-East corner of the end of the pier was caution-taped off. Looks like everything is good on that corner again as people were walking on it.
