A little maintenance, mini tour of my most established space. Hay racks from Home Depot. Plants planted in them are Superbells holy cow, pink geraniums, supertunia royal velvet, and lobelia
I lost track of your videos and couldnt remember the name of your channel. Today I ran across a video from proven winters that had a booklet with turnable pages and I saw your page. That was awesome. Congratulations. So happy I found your videos again.
You created an absolutely gorgeous garden within a short period of time. Well done! I cannot believe how abundant and how lush your garden looks. Love how you incorporated different hydrangeas together. Thank you for being so inspiring ❤️
Thank you! Thank you! Moya… you have me cracking up throughout the entire video!! Don’t get rid of the midnight masquerade penstemon.. add like 5 more!! They are so beautiful when they bloom & fairly long bloomers too! I’m just wondering if your patch gets enough sun there.. they are a gorgeous plant tho.. the dark foliage and deep red/wine stems.. I love them. If you get rid of yours, mail them to me!! lmaooo 😆😆😁 Nice video!! Keep recording and keep editing at your leisure! Idc if it’s winter and we get a “August garden tour!!” 😆😆 I will ALWAYS watch your videos! 😊♥️
Your white begonias are stunning with the purple allysum and step stones...I just love the fountain lane!💜 Also...lemon grass will help keep flies away..
I watch a lot of gardening videos and this is one of the most beautiful spaces I have seen! I’m a sucker for hydrangeas and I love how you highlight them in your landscape.
Wow. Your garden has come along so beautifully! I've been a fan since the early videos. You should be so proud of the glorious beauty you've created. Thanks for sharing.
Your garden is looking gorgeous and you deserve every credit for it. The fountain area has really come to life now and the results are breathtaking. Also love the caging of your veggie area and how are being creative with adding colors to it with those hanging baskets. I always feel inspired when I see your garden, thanks for sharing. Wishing you and your family a great time in Jamaica.
Older woman? Girl, I have been gardening 50 years so, I for sure, qualify as older woman. Enjoy. I have wretched luck with geraniums but my mother grew red ones and hers were always glorious. I Love your videos and remember well when I had your energy.
Laura and Aaron of Garden answer use dead weed brew but they said the premixed formula is not strong enough. They recommend buying the concentrate and mixing it at strongest ratio.
That long view of the fountain path 😍. Gorgeous!!! You can try watering the annuals before planting and squeezing the root ball a little, it can help with packing them in.
I like to use an ice scoop for soil too! Restaurant supply stores are a wonderland of planty fun! Your garden is absolutely adorable and has come a long, long way! You have plenty to be proud of.
I love it. I have one outside of my kitchen area. It is filled with garlic chives. I use it quite often for culinary dishes. Geraniums are gorgeous. I love ❤️ what you've done.
We miss you! Hope you enjoyed your vacation. The garden is amazing! Thank you for allowing us in you space. It is such a treat to see you transform all the spaces on your property. I think the containers are called window planters, but many people use them in different ways. I have them on a banister as well.
What a great transformation! I can remember when this side yard was in shambles, a weedy, scrubby mess. And, then along came Moya. You saw the potential, and slowly over time, you brought it to life. How tickled you must be every time you walk through this beautiful garden space. Moya planted and watered, but God kept making it grow. 💚😊💚
It was a hot mess!!! I need to dig up an old video so we all can look back together. I was so frustrated with the space, the clay almost drove me crazy. 😅
Hahaha!! Who needs a gym when you garden!! Amen!! Good workout for the body, soul and mind. The garden looks fantastic, and I love the burnt wood on the obelisks. I am going to do that to mine too!!
This is my dream garden. Gorgeous colors and variety. Love to hear your excitement with the alyssum. I am obsessed with it! That and salvia are the icing on the cake as far as my garden is concerned. When my garden center ran out. I got 3 packs of seeds and sprinkled them along all my walkways. They just make everything pop!
Your enthusiasm and love for gardening and your energy is so contGious specially when you go out to nursery garden to find plants you can salvage at a low price or giveaway coz I have do the same and convert my sisters empty backyard into a little paradise without spending big. You are so funny too. I love watching your channel.
Hello, Moya - I saw the photos of you and your gorgeous garden in the PW Gardener's Idea Book. When I read that you live in the Mid-Atlantic, Zone 7b, I KNEW you had to be in the Baltimore area. I live on the SW side, about a mile from the city line in one direction, and about a mile from the Anne Arundel county line in another direction. Please post more videos! Hop everything is coming up roses - or hydrangeas - for you!
I see most gardeners start with everything dry. I would first soak the coco mat and place it in holder. Then, all the pots would be placed in a tub of water for about a half hour. Remove from tub and then plant. Same for in ground planting. Flood the hole with water. Wait for draining. Keep plant in tub of water to be thoroughly hydrated and then plant and backfill. Never have lost a plant 🪴
It looks GORG-eoUS!!! That area has really transformed! If I could park a bench in there and sit with a cup of morning coffee or afternoon cup of iced tea, I would! ❤
Oh sweetheart I haven’t seen your beautiful garden in a minute. I can’t believe the transformation! Bravo! You have a talent that is for sure. Missed this!
