Love that you’ve been helping the terrapins for years, but still are so very excited to see and gather all the little hatchlings. 🥰 Passing your passion and compassion on to your sweet little daughters too! ❤️❤️❤️
Oh my goodness, so many baby turtles not much bigger than your thumb, what a success. Love how your daughters were so helpful, adorable. Bitsy looks great, so glad you were able to take her in. Thank you Chris and Casey plus two (lol), great job!🐢👍💕
Hi Chris How exciting to see all of those baby wild tarapin baby turtles hatch out. And the girls were such a big help finding them. Over 50. And to see you release them back into the salt marsh was amazing. That is one huge female celcota tortoise. She will be happy with your other female. Her name is Otis? Seeing the release made me so happy. Wonderful way to start your day. Cindy
It's so lovely watching how your girls know how to handle the babies and how they enjoy doing this. Great family you have here! And the girls are so enchanted by the baby turtles.
Love your daughters getting right in there and so involved! The one telling the seagulls to ‘go away’ from all the hatchlings and the other saying’Dad is freaking out’ shows just how well they truly understand what they are doing as well! Nothing like being in the family business from day one! ❤
Nice to see Bitsy so healthy and how chill she is with the change of environment, seemed completely unbothered by the strangers all around her and was patient getting out of the carrier. Which also speaks volumes to John's work, since it sounded like he kept her for the quarantine period
Really loved this presentation! Congratulations on 52 Terrapin hatchlings returning to their habitat, that's awesome! 👍 👏 Thankfully there's space for the new female tortoise at the rescue, hope she does well ❤🐢
Your family is sooooooo fricking lucky!!!! And it's all so everyday normal. What life-changing experiences for your daughters. And so normal and every day. LOVE THIS!!!!!!!!!!!
Those baby terrapins were just adorable- and you just had to find one that was charming and inquisitive so it could show off for the video! You guys do amazing work! Also- Bitsy is a stunning girl, it's really nice to see a Sulcata who was actually raised properly
They are so beautiful, so very sweet, you are a wonderful family to all of the animals. I have wanted one for years and years, but I live in the City, thank you for this, for them ... they really need you. 🤗❤✌️🇨🇦
Wow, so many baby DBTs and then that big old mama salcuta. Well, I guess she was probably never bred, but you know what I'm saying. Have a great day. Richard from Arkansas
the babies are so cute 😭 and the sulcata is gorgeous!!! do you have content explaining the most common causes of pyramiding? is it lack of sun, improper diet, combination of both?
@@GardenStateTortoise thank you for the reply!! i’ll look for the video!! can a tortoise that always has a pool of fresh water available not bathe itself enough? Is it best to actively bathe them yourself to make sure they’re hydrated?
