FYI At 4:17 B- to AC2 the voltmeter showed 0.001 volts which would be a short not OL. So that one rectifier would be shorted or closed circuit unless your voltmeter terminals were shorted. Otherwise a great test for the voltage regulator.

Hi, could I get your help, please? I am trying to test a reg/rec off of a Honda GX630 engine. I have the manual (online - GX630-GX690) page 80 charging system - Reg/Rec Inspection - regulator 17A. Could you let me know how I should be checking this? I'm getting OL where there should be a reading (brand new unit). I would appreciate any help. Thanks

What happens if my values are 0.465 instead of 0.559 is that withing specs? P B- to B = 0.859 instead of 1.1
