I pressed the red starter switch and it turned it on, but the on and off switch is now not working... it will not stop running unless I unplug the entire thing. Is this normal?
I have the exact same toilet. I cleaned the flapper as shown and still have a leak. I have the flapper on order and if that doesn’t work I will try replacing the rubber seal next, if those two things don’t work what should I replace next? Anyone have any knowledge?
Commando seems fine...until that cold metal zipper on your pants cheese-grates it's way across your man's helmet or you get some of the lion's mane stuck. Get some Modal boxers, or bamboo silk ones. Let your boys have a house, but let that house be a luxury mansion
My current flapper is hard plastic and where it connects I haven't found away to remove it. I just don't want to break the stem that it's attached to. Any recommendations. Thank you
Nice thing is that is one of Columbia's higher end motors for higher end machines. The lower budget motors with the wood base and tabletop models were the more inferior motors with the screw barrel caps and variations in spring sizes. Often those weren't worth rebuilding and more troublesome motors sadly
Thanks for making this video. I'm sure like many others before me you saved us money, time, and trouble by empowering ourselves to easily fix this disposal unit. Wish you all the best.
Like other comments have said, 14 years after this was posted and it still worked for us! Thank you so much!! We ended up having to make the Allen wrench into a drill bit to have more power. After a little bit, a tiny screw came dislodged and the garbage disposal is working perfectly again! I’m so happy, it saved us $100!
