There are many layers(!) to the Ice Age Floods story. Thanks to Bruce Bjornstad for his insights, and for the drone photography that gives us a rarely-seen view of these amazing landscapes.

Bruce, Thanks you so much for this latest set of videos. Your love of the subject comes through every one. I wish someone had a drone to film you making your videos.

Breathtaking. Truly your videos are such an educational adventure that should be used by many others as to how scientifically based environmental videos should be done. Clean, concise. Excellent use of technology/drones to properly show the area/nature being observed. I love the highlighting and printed information being used. So many other videos I try to enjoy here are sadly just not produced to a level that is consistent with what should be the end product. Thank you so much for creating these.

Another fine Ice Age geology video. My favorite exposure is the one on the north side of I-82 up toward the Zillah area. I am delighted that these deposits make great habitat for nesting swallows.

Hi! I have read that there is data from floods back 2 million years ago. So my question - Is this eroded exposure final? Is there hidden layers beneath the river level?

I am no expert but I do believe these layers should continue below the river level.

Has there been any core drilling and dating of all the individual rhythmite layers?

No need to drill - can see in outcrop. Ash layer (Mt St Helens) sandwiched between rhythmites dated at 16k years old.
