Simple repair of Gardena spray gun when it's leaking of frostbite crack.. Lets keep some of the perfectly good equipment from landfill with simple repairs.
Wonderful. I have the same experience and although Gardena claims to be frostproof, it is NOT. So take it indoors in heated area over the winter... Now. My method is a bit different. I also make the groove, but I do so with a sharpknife. Then I melt the crack together with a soldering iron that has a flat tip. You can also buy plastic rods of the same type of plastic and melt them into the crack. No waiting and No chemicals!
Yes ABS plastic and acetone is the perfect binding material. Especially when you have place to reinforce it with thicker layers. Successfully repaired multiple hooks when they broke off in disassembly :) good luck and let us know if it was a success. Sometimes people do need multiple positive stories to give it a shot themselves..
Why cracked? Manufaktur defect? I have same in Australia, strong UV sunlight kills ALL nozzles here. No problems here with ICE expansion, Cheers from sunny Australia.
Got it already with this defect I would say it's ice expansion that makes this crack.. UV I would assume kills it from outside.. and I think there are some varnish that protects from UV?.. although in Australia plastic melts from direct sunlight :))) nothing helps there.. stay strong! ;)

You will need to take it apart if it only clogged it's fixable if plastic broke you can try to glue it using explanation in this video.. but first thing first, take it apart..
Hi ...I got the Gardena premium 18305 Spaypistol and it doesnt spray anymore if turned to the left(showerposition) The Inputchannel is clean put the outputside is the problem...how can I open the Front jet Ventil??? Thank you Sir🤘
sorry have not tried to take it apart that far.. I would try to apply some compressed air from outside to blow out any junk if its in there. do press the button for air to flow freely..
