Thank you for another uplifting episode…for we can all use a nice dose of cheerfulness in our very contentious world! I’ve been a viewer of your channels for a wee while. It’s a wonderful change and counter-balance to the usual negative, soul-sucking, click bait drivel that permeates so much of our lives…from sunrise to sunset…24/7! I know online culture affects us all…but…it especially targets our young people. We need to set positive examples, and help them when they fall prey to societal and peer pressures. We all know the exuberance and vulnerability of youth. May we leave the generations following us…HOPE…and everything necessary for future generations to flourish…including a beautiful world! Keeping resources like Gardeners’ World accessible is certainly one giant step in that direction. May we leave plenty of such footsteps! Cheers and Best Wishes to all for a brighter Spring and delightful Summer!🇨🇦☺🇬🇧

How do you protect your dogs against poison plants. Sweet pea for example I hear is toxic for dogs. Do your dogs just naturally stay away from the plants or did you have to train them?

Camassia. Camas. Quamash. Canadian bluebells. Strappy smothering foliage. That's the drawback I find with most spring bulbs. Now I only have a small garden plot ,once the dazzling display is over it's a mess of green and nothing can come through,then in June when it's just too late to comfortably replant,it's bare earth. Of course the answer is to remove all the bulbs and put in a nursery bed. Ned is very boisterous. Hes not quiet like Nigel or Nellie.
