Love how you’re showing the drip. From now on I’m going to stick 1/4 six inch. Unfortunately I have mix of 1/2 tub, with 12 or 18 emitters and 1/4 tub with 6 or 12 inch emitters. I learn so much from your videos! Love the on off switch and your garden.
Hello! I have to say you made my day. It’s hard to know if what I share is inspiring or helpful. One thing to keep in mind is the water in your area. Hard water can plug lines quicker on the smaller lines. I love using the little switch. Thank you for watching and commenting! Robyn
I’m glad RU-vid suggested your video. It in my opinion is excellent. You are very helpful helping gardeners who may not know all the helpful hints you shared. Thanks.
I think Calluna Vulgaris is known as Scotch Heather, one of the heathers anyway. :) I’d still it call it calluna fwiw. Has it flowered yet? Roma must be the cultivar, curious what’s the difference. Very nice planting, hope they’re doing well for you!
I'm in South Carolina, and Bradford pear trees are banned here, and the state will provide a new tree if the homeowner removes theirs. They crossbreed with regular pear trees and render them sterile and produce a hybrid that has underground roots with enormous thorns that tear up tractor wheels. The downside of these trees cannot be over-emphasized. They have invaded all kinds of natural areas in our state 😞. Your place looks great, and is in a similar neighborhood to mine. I've let my lawn go to clover on purpose so that it is softer than the fescue than was there and has early blossoms in the spring for the bees which cover them. My goal is to totally replace almost the entire lawn with flower beds using mostly natives. I'm thinking you are like us in that water is an issue, so I'm really looking for things that do not need water. Anyway, thank you for these videos, and I love the tip about trimming first before mowing -- will definitely do that!
Hello! Crazy a tree can cause so much trouble. I wish they would ban them in our area. When I cut mine down, I had the stump grinding guy come back because he left too many roots. I wanted to be sure it was gone. I love that you have a plan to replace your lawn/clover area. I haven't made it to that point. I like a bit of grass. Thanks for watching and commenting! Robyn
Hi! I love Supertunia Bubblegum. I had it planted last summer on the left of my driveway. It was amazing. Sadly, I wasn’t able to find it this year. PWs smaller plants are hit and miss in my area. I’m always on the look out for PWs plants. Robyn
