I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle ru-vid.comUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

Bought a mini chainsaw two years ago and it is still going strong. A very useful buy. Modern ones seem to have some useful upgrades. Would buy the six inch version next time

Wow Dave, you find the best STUFF! Today I want.... well.... everything (except for the water timer cuz I live in the desert and don't need to water sand). All kidding aside, that mini chain saw looks like a game changer for me - I have arthritis pretty bad so a full size chain saw is out of the question, even chopping pruners and hand pruners are difficult, but this saw... WOW! I've purchased things based on your recommendation before and have never been disappointed. Gonna go grab me one of these hand-held chain saws. Thank you so much!! @@masonrains5010 Very, very well! Even with the significant arthritis in my hands I get started working and wind up searching for more things to cut. And it really takes on a lot - as I recall right at this minute I haven't taken it to something it wouldn't cut! It has kicked back once or twice but I think it was my error in not placing the chain correctly. I highly recommend this little chainsaw!! It's fun too! Enjoy!
