I'm shen and even I ban garen. Even if you win lane, he can just split push and you will NEVER catch him. Or he can just use Execute and run away in fights

The easiest champion in the game that can build full tank and still one shots half the roster while silencing them out of using abilities and is rewarded with free heals for being afk for a few seconds and doesnt have to manage any resources i.e mana. I get riot wants champions in each role that are easy to play for beginners and bad players so they dont lose more of their playerbase but garen is a joke. if you want a perfect example of a balanced beginner champion, Annie exist. she has to earn her stun, manage a mana bar, build squishy if she wants to do damage, but still has beginner friendly abilities like a strong summon, shield, speed up to avoid inting and has a mana refund that actual takes skill (or atleast more skill than just standing afk...).
