Barry great show and you talk straight about yourself,,, environment.. I got out of a shit hole and never looked back Keep going Barry and Toffee TV eckhart tolle suffers from depression,,, IMHO get into the right environment...
I'm only leaving a comment here to try and boost whatever algorithms and encourage people to watch this as I've watched it on the premier channel. This interview is a very, very special piece of work, a real privilege to watch. It would be a shame for people not to see or listen to Gareth Farrelly tell his story in such an open and honest way. If you love the game, please watch it, it's long, but you can do it in stages. It's worth the time because it really is a great reminder that the sport we love really is more than a game.
This Interview is brilliant. Gareth is a great talker and such an interesting story with lots of talking points. More people need to see this video. Share everyone and let's get this the views it deserves
Mental health is so important, just as important if not more than physical. My own experience around depression, anxiety etc involved alcohol too and health issues from heart failure, now I don't drink and with therapy and help from friends and family. I'm happier, healthier and in a better place. Journalling is a massive thing that I'd recommend to anyone as well as other habits.
Baz and Barry, I can only echo the wonderful comments given by all above. You create a safe and open environment that allows us fans to gain insight into former footballers' lives laced with all the highs and lows. People need to watch MTAG because there is so much excellent content that we can all identify with certain elements, and gain strength and understanding from. Gareth was simply outstanding throughout the interview, Baz. Massive respect to you both. 💙💙
Really interesting interview. Thanks to Gareth for that goal and congratulations on what he's achieved after some very difficult times. Well done Baz on a great interview.
I remember when my dog ran of up to the Everton players training in crocky park and they all stopped having to run until i got him back on his lead ., I was shocked to see them all there as I was a season ticket holder and I was about 15 at the time .Gareth not only was that a special goal you are first and foremost a special man . Another great interview Baz, keep up the fantastic work highlighting mens mental health surely needs to be done to encourage mens talking therapy. Have listened to many of your interviews and you are clearly a very well respected individual in the feild of you-tube football blogging. You and Pez keep up the great work 👍
Thank you Alexander, really appreciate that and you taking the time to comment 😃 Absolutely more needs to be done about Men's Mental Health and spreading the word. Gareth was a brilliant guest and I loved this conversation.
