Great stuff, really enjoyed Sean's time at Forest. Sacking was a travesty.

As Sec of NFSC in Scotland I felt utterly ashamed of being a life long fan the day SOD was sacked. He threw a team together at very short notice worked tirelessly with the youngsters and we sat 7th in the Championship - a point behind the play offs. I think we would have gone up that season. Let’s not forget results changed when he was brought in to assist Steve Cotterill.

That was absolutely brilliant even after listening to 9 months of podcasts. A completely different refreshing perspective excellent. He was the right man at the right time .

I worked at the training ground when Sean was there and I can genuinely say he is a very honest and decent guy who should of been given a lot more time at the club. When he came to Forest under Cotterill he had a big effect and the football they played was great to watch. The following season when he was brought in as manager he had to build a whole new team after a lot of players had left. His sacking was a big shock but I wasn't surprised because Fawaz hadn't got a clue about football in this country. My biggest fear now is that Forest are gonna have the same problem under the current ownership

Ah Fawaz, all the gear but no idea. I actually look back at his tenure with less anger than most. He wasn't a great owner and he made some ridiculous decisions but at least he was trying to learn from his mistakes by the end and he at least allowed us to be sold on rather than keeping us as an asset under duress like some owners. The story about the Kuwaiti lads though was golden! Haha. Wonderful, insightful interview. Great job. I know I'm late but count me as a subscriber

Great stuff, very intelligent and modest football man. If there’s any chance for us to have him as a coaching role at the club I’ll be happy.

Appointing Sean was the best decision Fawaz ever made. Sacking him was the worst.

He sounds a top guy. Love his footballing philosophy. Definitely a case of right manager but wrong time.

Anthony Johnson He was the right manager at the right time! His sacking goes down as one of the worst decisions in the past 20 years.

Sean should be our Director of Football and he and Gary Brazil oversee the running of the club.

Forest were probably a bit too inconsistent for Fawaz liking? Sean did a decent job to get us near the playoffs but obviously not good enough for Fawaz. Interesting stories
