Garlic cheese white sauce pizza, aka alfredo cheese pizza, is probably one of my top pizza choices. It's like cheesy garlic bread but elevated to a whole other level with the quick alfredo sauce. This whole meal comes together so quickly. I whipped up this pizza crust and let it proof for 2 hours on the counter and then assembled it to bake in my cast iron skillet. This bakes at a super high heat for only 12 minutes, and you have beautiful golden crust with a delicious garlicky cheese topping.
Pizza Crust:
2 1/4 teaspoom dry active yeast
1 cup warm water
2 cup bread flour
2 teaspoons sugar
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1 teaspoon garlic powder
Olive Oil
Alfredo Sauce:
1 tablespoon butter
1 tablespoon garlic
1 tablespoon flour
3/4 cup milk (I used 2%)
1/2 cup parmesan
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
8 ounces shredded mozzarella
Fresh Basil and Chives, For Garnish
