My father died half a year ago. He made excellent and tasty fried rice sometimes when I was young and I took things for granted by not really sparing any attention to his cooking methods. I'm now trying to replicate that taste and this is exactly how he made it. This video filled me with warmth althroughout its duration. Thank you Sir for teaching this simple recipe that embodies the essence of a Filipino breakfast. Hopefully, I might be able to taste my father's cooking again through this. I just miss him so much.
👍👍👍 😋😋😋 Sa mga lugar sa Pinas na napakaraming native bawang na hindi nabebenta kasi masipag ang DA magbawas ng taripa ng importers. Ginagawa nilang tinadtad na native garlic & labuyo chili oil. Tapos nilalagyan nila mga fried rice nila habang hinahalo. Minsan nilalagyan ng fresh alamang or taba ng talangka. Minsan hinimay na isdang tinapa or hinimay na maalat na daing.
You are a badass in cooking! I could never cook multiple dishes at one time, but your technique in cooking the garlic friend rice is great, I never put 'patis' when I cook garlic fried rice, but I did this morning after watching you and it turned out awesome!

Maganda talaga over night refrigerate yung kanin, para pag fried rice hindi dikit dikit ang rice pag na fried na. tapos lagyan halo ng itlog. naku...high blood ako. :P

Masarap sya at talagang expert ang gawa nyo sir.. Pero yung mamantika medjo alangan lng. Kasi tlaga nag piprito ako kunti tlaga ang oil at hindi lubog. Pero sa fried garlic rice i like it. Kasi mhilig din ako mg imbento sa pg luto ng mga left over na pgkain. 😊

Speaking of longanisa, did you ever try our famous "Longanisang Lucban" here in Quezon province, fyi, our balikbayans used to bring this back in the US, or even in European countries, and to avoid emitting the garlic smell, since this was made of lot of garlic & oregano, they put this in a sealed container... I'm sure the Americans will surely like it too, our version of garlic sausage...my best regards to your team! Sarap ang mga luto mo Bogs, ay Basmati Rice pala ang maganda sa garlic rice dahil buhaghag na siya, try pineapple fried rice with shrimps and nuts, masarap din ito.
