Just got the watch yest. When I hit the find my phone it just keeps searching. Did I miss a step.? Can’t seem to figure that part out. Can you help ? Thanks
Hey, Would I be right to assume that for golf you use the garmin golf app & for, say running, it'd be the normal garmin connect app that it syncs your run too? Also, wondering if it records your round of golf as a walk with map as well as using it for the golf features at the same time? Thanks for the videos
Hi Adam, yes that’s right, all your activities are in the Garmin Connect app. Even your golf round will be there and exactly what you mention it shows the same info as running, along with the map 👍. Only thing though, which I haven’t verified, I’m not sure if the watch can distinguish cart vs walking.
Love your videos. Just picked one up to upgrade from a Vivoactive. Does the S62 have a barometric altimeter sensor to count elevation as well as floors climbed? I can’t seem to figure it out and the Garmin connect doesn’t recognize. Thanks!
Thanks! So the S62 does measure elevation, you can see this in the details of your activities. I never paid attention to floors climbed though but I just check and don’t see any stats. Let me see if I can figure this out
I'm thinking of buying this watch because of the battery and it's beauty, there is really no other watch like this, but I don't play golf at all, can anyone tell me if it's possible to get the most golf features out of the way so I can enjoy this watch as just a smartwatch? I don't mind that it's bulk. I wanna know if you can edit the buttons at the side and take of that last score from the watch face and take off golf as the primary sport on the list and instead of pairing this watch on your phone directly with the garmin golf app If I can Pair just with the garmin connect..?
Nope same back light! You can adjust the brightness in your watch settings. I have it set to 30%. Crank it up to 100%, it's nice and bright, but the battery life is heavily reduced
Hey mate. How do you enable the route mapping to appear? I’ve downloaded the Garmin connect app and after I do a run and click save, the route doesn’t appear. Thanks
Peter m when you start your activity, does it ask to turn on GPS? Sometimes you need to change the setting for the activity to turn on GPS. Hope that helps!
Hey Craig, the watch has trouble detecting some chips and putts. You’ll have to use the CT10, check out my other video on them though because it depends on what kind of grip you have on your putter.
