Saw this on prime day for $229 currently. Thinking about it, had the 780lmt-s loved it but just as you said black screen! Except mine turned on for a second then went black and never turned back on even with a new chord/mount
Yeah, I was pretty good at keeping it out of the heat, it did last me a good 3 years so I got my monies worth out of it but 100% agree with you on keeping it out of the heat and leaving it on truck during the winter
My pleasure and no the gps has been working great and getting me to where I need to go without any issue. I appreciate you watching and hope you have an awesome day
just bought otr700, having one issue when weigh station is approaching I just have the notification "weigh station" but not the distance like you have, did you change any settings to show the distance to weigh station?
There should be a setting in your notifications as to when to alert you of an upcoming weight station. I will look more into it and let you know what I come up with. I appreciate you watching. Drive safe
Can’t seem to find the format for inputting GPS coordinates from Google Maps. Example 29.151333, -98.589491. I tapped on the various formats for coordinates, but none seem to be in this format. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance for your help. On Garmin DEZL OTR 700
This is a great question and I never tried inputing GPS coordinates, however, I have had times where I enter an address to a delivery or pick-up and the GPS was not able to find the address, which in those cases I would pull up google maps and find a building close to where I was going, try that address and use that in the GPS, then would save the location once I arrived so if I was to come back it would already be saved in my GPS which is something I always do is save the locations. This for me made it quicker and reminded me if it was a place I went to before. Let me know if you get it figured out. I appreciate you and hope you have an awesome day.
@@Positive_Energy727 you might want to update your GPS if you're still having problems with the traffic alerts or go into the settings to see if it's turned on. The satellite receiver should be in the GPS
@@gailmorra you will just need to connect your garmin to a wifi connection which I just used my hotspot on my tablet. If you don't have a hotspot you can connect to your wifi at home
The mobile app takes some finesse to connect - for me it was my phone settings - but once it does connect - no more sluggish radio updates from the old cable.
