I have tortured my Fenix 5 for over 4 years now, it has been through hell and back, survived army, survived 1500 miles of running, survived 900 miles of hiking/patrols and during holidays it becomes a turkey timer. What I’m trying to say is that you absolutely don’t need to babe it, because it will most likely outgrow you and all spare OEM parts are available online the only thing you will ever need to replace on this device is battery which is extremely simple and even that I haven’t notice any change to mine after 4 years, they say it takes around 5 years to notice the difference so will see in about a year. Enjoy it, log your activities and get as much out of it as you can i have never been in a better shape of my life garmin connect and strava are my addiction lol

Agreed. I abused the hell out of mine, and it still looked nearly new when I retired it. I never used anything to protect it, not even a screen protector.

@@RandoWisLuL dude, up to you. Those guys that “abuse” the watch don’t mind having scruffy band and scratched up bezel. I like to use the watch in casual evenings and don’t want it looking like I don’t care about it and that it’s just a tool. There is always a time you WILL hit it against some door, metal corner and so on, those add up. So up to you anyway. I don’t advocate either way as opposed to the OP here. The watch WILL look scruffy if you abuse it

Buy the Sapphire version, my Fenix 3 Sapphire is 4 years old and in the same condition like when I bought it, and I have dropped it, smacked in to things and I have worn it every day.

Hi jabber! Would love that if i go into town... but when im in the woods i prefer the rubber bazel protector because it covers way more surface.... i also put a gorilla glass screen protector just to be extra safe ! Cheers !

I just got mine on Friday, and nice quality material, but it doesn't made it through the weekend. The glue went weak, and started to peel off a screw down version would be better. But I haven't seen any.....

Great video! Watches are bound to have wear and tear. I already have some scratches on my 6X. Do you prefer to have the Stainless Steel Bezel Protector than the Bumper Bully ? Does the plastic protector make the watch tacky or cheap feeling ?

Great review. Question: once removed, is there any residue left on watch? I have Garmin Fenix 6x sapphire with DLC coating, I wouldn’t want that thing to ruin the DLC coating. Thanks.

Appreciate it! It's not a very strong adhesive, just a strip of tape, and I didn't have any issue with my 5x plus when I removed it, just took a damp rag and wiped the glue right off

Bluetooth is much improved on the 6x over my previous 5x,stronger and faster connection

What about the GPS reception? As far as I know the GPS antenna is underneath the bezel so another layer of steel doesn't seem like a good idea to me.

Sorry but there are a number of watch faces with GMT analog hands that you can set up on 24 h. - very convenient with this bezel protector

I’m confused please help. I have the Fenix 6x Pro Solar in carbon gray dlc. On Amazon it only shows the silver for 6x not the black/gray. It states the 6/6pro does not fit. Your video with the black cover is that a 6/6pro or a 6x/6x pro? Thanks for any help.

Ciao, ho provato ad acquistare la lunetta a mio avviso, il materiale di fabbricazione è sbagliato, se lo si fa per una questione estetica, bisogna tenere conto che l'acciaio rovinerà la lunetta originale. Il mio modesto parere! Andava fatto con materiale plastico. Se invece, lo si mette per nascondere i graffi della cornice originale, in quel caso va bene, ma bisogna tenere conto, che al primo micro urto, la lunetta soprattutto se nera, si rovinerà immediatamente dovuta alla sua qualità notevolmente scarsa.

☹⁉️be warned!!! if you're in the hot sun on your bike or motorcycle...the heat from the sun will take the bezel off !! ...if you hold your arms in the handle bar position of a bike, scooter or motorcycle....it will come off..when I got off my scooter the bezel was on the bottom side of my pants leg......lucky me..now it sit on the table...thinking about super glue 🤔 ⁉️😕⁉️..........☹⁉️
