The IPX7 rating means waterproof when submersed in water at a depth of one meter, for 30 minutes

Great vid! I'm currently trying to figure out which map I should download to my earthmate app. Are the NOAA maps just for the U.S.? I'm fishing offshore Great Barrier Reef, if you were me which would you download? Thanks!!!

When you use an iPhone to message through it does it use your iPhone telephone number or does the inreach mini have its own phone number?

Doesn’t the lack of water resistance defeat the purpose? Not trying to be ugly I’m researching for which device I’m going to get for offshore safety.😊

I have use mine around the water, in the rain and camping for several years now and had zero problems
