Great video! I'll be doing my first series tournament on the 22nd. And the lake will be fishing up shallow for the most part. This video will be key! I'll be FB live at the weigh-in.
Perspective mode is what I've used the most so far. It's crazy all the beds I've found, there's bass out on beds in the middle of small lake by my house. In places I would had never thought! I found a cluster of old bluegill beds in 8' of stained water. I'm a kayak angler. Alot of time I just keep it in perspective mode facing forward using like a 360. I don't fish behind me so I don't need to know what back there anyways. I just fish like I always have except now I can find fish & structure off the bank I had no idea was there & alot other people miss.
You can always trust a man who builds his own team hitting tunnel. Loved the last couple "settings" videos. Just about warmed up to a point where considering getting the boat on the water and using the new LVSPlus.
@@The_Garmin_Guru outstanding! Fishing and baseball are two of my favorites! How far did you get and what organization(s) were you with? Used to go to a lot of AA and AAA games at Bosse Field in Evansville growing up. Remember watching Kirk Gibson's AAA debut as a pinch runner when Detroit had their AAA franchise there. Coached in Little League and Babe Ruth and the gentleman who did the field maintenance pitched for the White Sox at one time. Can see his face but can't recall his name any longer. Was catching our pitchers one Saturday morning practice and he was there. Naturally he had to be a lefty and threw one in "easy" and that was all I wanted of that nonsense. They can't throw a straight ball.
@@The_Garmin_Guru Something you can always be proud of and I'm sure some of that is rubbing off on your son. Good to see you're involved with your son's development too. Little League and Babe Ruth with our son are some of my best memories. Keep up the great work with Garmin and baseball!
Just got a good deal on another ls32. I plan on mounting it for perspective mode. Question is. I have 1 on a fishobsessed mount for forward and will be adding a second for the perspective. Does it matter which is placed where as in one on top of the other? And are there any issues with interference?
The settings worked pretty well I did adjust them a hair different but I started with them as base line. Having the bottom little darker does help fish & structures pop. Yesterday i had my first exsperiance with short grass in about 10' of water. My picture on perspective looked all wavy, distorted &crazy like it was angled to high catching surface waves. But it was angled more downward. It took me a minute to figure out what was going on. Then I realized it had to be grass moving in water from the wind. I thought I had some settings messed up or something at first.
@@The_Garmin_Guru so I did quick draw map of smaller lake & it shows the waypoints through active captain in my phone when it's linked up. But it's not showing the contour line on my phone? It does on my ultra 106sv? I have downloaded community contours to my phone so I know how to do that. Why does it not show my own contours?
This is getting scary. I was watching your settings guide for Forward Mode and thought it would be nice to have a video for Perspective Mode....and then I get notified you just posted that video. Thanks for all you do and the help you give. I do have one quick question, and I should know the answer, but do I need to calibrate the compass if the transducer is on a separate pole (Hite Rite)?
I like using trails on Perspective mode when I Bobber fishing You can see them then I just real them in front of the fishes path works pretty good perch fishing
One more question. If your in perspective mode and go back to forward does it keep your old settings or do you have to re enter your settings every time you change? I’m new at all this love the channel lots of information big learning curve. Thanks for all your help.
I have a question if I stow my force trolling motor while using livescope moving from one spot to another should I turn my unit off or will it harm my transducer if my unit is still on ?
I'm curious why my perspective mode doesn't look as good as simulator? I'll try the new settings but have been upset that the image hasn't looked that good. Its seems that my LVS 32 was better than LVS 34
Hey brother I got another question. Finally got out on the water for the first time with my 34 livescope after celebrating the compass I got the display in the upper right corner that gives you an idea of the direction you’re looking but mine was showing backwards from the direction I’m actually looking. Is there a setting I can change to fix it ? It’s mounted on my Garmin trolling motor shaft

So I've recorded a small local lakes by my house with quick draw contours. I do not have it shared with community. It doesn't get alot pressure & like to keep it that way! Anyways when I sink my phone via active captain & download that area it doesn't show my quick draw contours on my phone? It has my waypoints but not the contours? I deleted it & downloaded it again. Didn't change. What am I missing? How do I get my quick draw contours to show ony phone?
You want to know why I go the speeds I go in the video. It’s people’s lack of ability to watch videos to go longer. The longer videos just will not get watched. I try to fit them in a time frame for the majority of the audience. You can pause it or rewind if you need to hear it again. But I’ll def try to slow down but it will cut down on the amount of info in a video
