Thanks Randy. Appreciate the info you give on livescope it really helped my learning curve. Been subscribed for long time and never miss a full episode. Please enter me for the Livefoot drawing. Thanks!
Randy, o have watched a lot of your videos you are truly the Garmin Guru any time I need help with my live scope I search for a video you have done on the issues I and having . So far I have got all the info I needed to correct the problem . Thanks a bunch and keep ‘em coming.
Went to the classic and asked each vendor who sells a version of this when they plan to make a target lock capable model and most of the responses were “We’re working on it”. I have a Livescanner and it’s fine, but here’s the problem with these pole mounts, they’re too slow. Garmin, please develop your own pole mounts with quick steering and target lock. I have all Garmin equipment, I should have a Garmin FFS mount too. I want to be able to spot lock the boat and have target lock on FFS to a brush pile and never have the FFS lose that target when the boat spins around in the wind. Make it happen and I’ll buy it
I got into the first build last spring. And now they are having trouble getting them factory built. So the sent my deposit back. So im looking for somthing ? But wanting one that has GPS lock so i can lock on a target. Does yours lock on target? Looks like a nice built unit , and it doesn't have a flimsy aluminum shaft and thats a plus! Thanks for the videos i rewatch them all the time as you got me going with Garmin units when i was deciding what to get. Thanks again.
That would be awesome to win this. Thanks for trying to keep it to the RU-vid channel. I don’t have Facebook I used to and may have to go back. I just needed a break from it.
Randy, I’ve been a subscriber before you had 3000 subscribers & I have always enjoyed your channel & you have taught me so much over the last couple of years. Thanks for your dedication to the sport & keep up all the good work that you do.
Wow! That’s nice! I just bought a new boat and have LVS on it. This is my first LVS. I found your channel a couple weeks ago and have learned a TON about LS. Thanks for spending the time to do these!
keep up the great information. I wouldn't be as knowledgeable without your information. fyi, my hardest part was figuring out the way to point the livescope at the beginning LOL. We've come a long way in a short time!!
Randy, I agree with how your going to give away the DD-26. You are a 100% correct. I also just watched Max with MG Marine tech latest video. He referred his viewers to subscribe to your channel for livescope setting. Your are the best out there on settings. Your making waves man. I will be here to see 100,000 in the near future I believe.
Ive been saving money for my first livescope system for almost 2 years this dd26 would give me the best set up i could possibly get. Either way i just have to save some more i suppose. Thanks for the all the info on that mounting plate. Id like 360 as well. Its a shame they cant just integrate all of this together some how 😊
Really enjoy the information that you give us on live foot and live scope if I have an issue I refer back to your videos and it always fixes the problem! Keep up the great information stream. I have been looking at the live foot, and seriously considering getting one. Hope to win it!
I have been holding off on getting forward facing sonar because mounting it on the trolling motor would be a problem. It looks like the live foot would solve it but more money!
I agree with you on the position of the transducer! I made a pole for mine so it doesn’t matter what my spot lock is doing. The live foot would be a great tool for sure. 🙏👍🎣
What are the models that it’s compatible with? As far as the giveaway, I saw a lot of the people you’re talking about on FB. Maybe just announce the giveaway here on YT and definitely keep an eye on those new subs the day of! Great vid as always Randy!
These types of units are a great idea the only issue for bass guys is the ability to get the transducer out of the water to go cruising in the slop or heavy weeds.
@@The_Garmin_Guru ok, well I sure appreciate your info and everything on the force and live scope it’s helped in my setup. Still figuring things out but it will all take a little time to master. Thank you!!
Love your videos and have learned alot from them you are on my bucket list for a one on one training . My thoughts are the same on transducer mounted on the trolling motor . Hope i can be the winner of the live foot give away, but whom ever the winner might be congrats to them
They make fishing easier. You can point it at a position and still use the TM and not worry about losing sonar. LiveFoot seems to be better than RiteHite. I like the lighted arrow, so nice for night fishing.
Software to sync the displayed direction to livefoot to maintain the target line woul be awesome. I fish with mine on a seperate pole, manual control only. Livefoot would be a great addition.
@@JeremyTjensvold so if Garmin had a setting that allowed a lock posistion signal, and livefoot had ethernet or bluetooth capabilities you could essentially lock your transducer on target no matter the position of the boat. If boat was spot locked yet still moving in the wind the footlock would keep you directed at your target fish.
Great content! My force trolling motor has a stabilizer bar and I would like to keep using it after installing the livefoot. Can you please let me know if I will be able to install the livefoot together with the stabilizer rod? if not, are there any other accessories that I will need to buy?
Amazing give away! I want a live foot but being retired keeps me thrifty. Do you have a switch that allows you to go back and forth from forward to perspective modes or do you have to run 2 separate GLS10 units? Thanks for a great channel.
Thoroughly enjoy your videos. I'm currently in the market for a lives scope turret. Would like your recommendation. I've looked at Rite-Hite and Livescanner, True and Pro. What would you suggest. I primarily fish Dale Hollow for large and smallmouth, no crappie. I like the Livescanner and want to make sure, if this is the best choice, to get the best stabilizer (DD26 dobbone Livefoot, and transducer mount). I don't have any personal experience and internet information can be confusing. What would you suggest?
What do you have to do to get enrolled Awesome giveaway I would give away my all aboard marine mount if I win Thanks for making it for your dedicated people
I’ve been struggling with which turret system to buy. You use to have the Live Scanner before the Live Foot. Why did you switch? Having had both which would be better for my pontoon boat and why? Thanks for all you do!
Not a doubt fantastic tool. I put one on my electric boat, not livefoot as they don't make one for Terrova. and it makes fishing lot easier. Do have one on the bass boat as it has Ultrex.. Livefoot needs to work on one for different trolling motors there is a market out there.
What makes you think that. I’d love to debate you on that but like most trolls you won’t respond back. Why even follow videos on this channel if you’re gonna make negative comments.
Eventually they will have a shoot thru hull transducer and that’s what I’m waiting for . I fish the Great Lakes and it’s just too much weight on the front . I’m not interested with all that junk in my trolling motor.
My existing Livescope turret sits above my Ultrex shaft. This causes my custom fitted boat cover n0t to fit. Does the DD 26 Livefoot fold down fairly easy?
That makes absolutely not sense bc when the boat moves from waves, and wind that secondary foot you talking about WILL ALSO move off target...you then have 2 things ro try and control.
Sharp unit, is the foot pedal wireless, if so that's a game changer, will this work with the minn kota ultrex, I'll be watching. is garmin guru your facebook page? thanks.
