I agree. The R10 is still the best bang for the buck out there. I've had mine since Feb 2023. Very few issues (missed shots, GG app not supported on Android tablet). Set up and calibration (every time) is key for accuracy. RCT balls, too. I was going to upgrade to the Skytrak+ and reconsidered after watching several comparison videos (and other monitors). I can use that money on better software and garage golf upgrades. I recently upgraded to Awesome Golf. My current setup is the R10 (screen cast to Galaxy Tab via AG Assistant app), GoSports 4x5 mat, hitting into a Spornia net. The data and accuracy the R10 provides is good enough for a vast majority of golfers out there.

I agree, I think the R10 offers plenty of features and more than enough for most folks. The R10 + Awesome Golf is enough for me. I mostly use the Garmin for the Awesome Golf driving range.
The garmin R10 is priced to be accessible to the home user. I wish they would come out with additional sensors for ball axis spin. That’s really the only thing needed to help improve your game.
I've been using the garmin since it came out with awesome golf. Highly thinking of getting a mevo+ for more reliable shot shaping but really on the fence if it is that much better. Nice Review
You mentioned you have to pay for E6 but I thought It at least comes with E6 Connect and that gives about 5 courses for free with no sub required. Do you get to keep those or are they just a trial?
It is only available if you have a current iPhone or iPad. No PC or Android freebie. That's why I don't usually talk about it because it's not available to a signifigant group of people including myself. As far as keeping them I do not know for sure but I have seen people say yes.

I find that if I bring my club back further and take a longer slower chip to the green that it typically picks it up if I have that issue. It's usually with shots inside 15 feet for me if it happens. That's when I switch to the longer backswing.
Yes...you have to be connected to the Internet to use Awesome Golf. To use it with PC you will need to be connected with the the PC and your phone with the connector app.
