Thank you Sir just what I need in a watch....easy to use and long battery life. Plus my vision isn't the best so easy to read screen a plus. I'm a bogey golfer i wish I could get three par in a row that easy

Thanks for the video. This looks like it will be perfect for me. Just started playing again after being away for 15 years, so I'm not at the stage yet where I want to invest over 300 dollars on a golf watch. Might pick this up today.

The greatest golf watch for GPS yardages ever. Three years into this watch with not one issue this S10 is just awesome. Easy to use and great price. Customer service with Garmin is the same as Ping fantastic. Gives me everything I need highly recommend it if your looking for a GPS watch!

How do you increase the brightness. I just opened mine from xmas and the display is super light and hard to see

Well done out of the trap, the swing looked really good and the placement near the pin. It looks like the slope of the green was down from the trap, difficult shot.

I bought the bushnell phantom and that made an improvement on my game just by knowing the distance to the green and it’s all down to price you will pay

Yep, just knowing the distance already makes a big difference to your golf game. There are plenty of good basic golf GPS devices out there, the S10 is just the one I got for my girlfriend and was able to test it :)

I gave my $ 400 Bushnell range viewing thing to my son and bought an S 10 which I only use to get yardages to the green and pin. Don’t use it for number of putts or other features which it has. Distance is my # 1 loved feature and it is convenient as is on your wrist. Had a battery problem with it a year and a half later but I sent it back for an. exchange ie brand new. Just waiting for it to arrive but excellent customer service by the guy in Oregon.

Thanks! I use a Canon 250D. It's pretty straightforward to use, not too expensive and can shoot 4k :D Hope the Garmin makes you shoot lower scores!

Appreciate the video. Would have been a bit more helpful if you had verified distances with a laser (at a minimum the 150 and 100 yard markers in the course. Also, more info on how to charge it.

Hi Cameron, thx for the reaction. Indeed, after the video I figured verifying with a laser would have been more helpful. I keep it in mind for future videos :) And as for charging. It comes with a short USB cable. So it's very easy to charge when plugged into your pc or laptop.

@@bngolf6999 how accurate is it? I’m a caddy at a private club and would much rather use this instead of a large and heavy laser guided finder.

@@TalmboutJonAfrica In terms of distances to the front and back of the green I found it to be very accurate (like 1 or 2 meters off at most). So in this respect it could be very useful for a caddy like you. However, in terms of distance to the flag you are always better of with a laser, which I think is at least equally important for a caddy? Unless you are aware of the setups of the flags and the distances they are placed from the front of the green I would not suggest to switch completely to a gps watch. It can be a very useful extra though.

Fairly sure you can only keep the strokeplay score and not stableford

Yes, you should be able to. The downside is that you need to plug the S10 to your pc to upload the rounds data before you can see it in the Garmin App.

I have synced my watch but it still shows the incorrect time and date. What can I do?

I believe you can manually adjust the time and date in the settings. Not sure whether or not it always automatically syncs time and date with a smartphone.

@@bngolf6999 I have manually reset the time three times and it always goes to an incorrect time. I've tried the 24 hour and 12 and neither work.

How to charge watch?

I have a Garmin S10 and the charge only lasts for 12 holes. A POC. My old in Florida S4 holds the charge better than my new one I use at home. Very hard to navigate thru as well. Just want it for yardages only. No scoring, no counting putts. Just the yardage. Very frustrating S10.

Hi Paul, that's a bit weird. My Garmin S10 still easily lasts 18 holes and most of the time I can use it the day after again for another 18. Might be something off with yours, have you tried contacting the place where you bought it or Garmin?

@@bngolf6999 Just phoned Garmin and am sending it back and they are going to send me a replacement as have only had it for less than 24 months. Provided a UPS label to send it back, no charge. Guy on the phone in Oregon USA was very polite and happy to make me happy. Nice customer service. No problems with my old S 4 sitting in my bedroom in Naples Fla. Hope to be there in November and use the S 4 there. Hoping my new S 10 will work.

@@bngolf6999 Sept 2021 Just wanted to say I sent the not working S10 back to Garmin in Toronto, no charge shipping, and a week later got a new one via Fed Ex. It works perfectly and I should have sent it back a year ago. Garmin came through and I can golf 18 holes with battery life to spare. I don't keep score on it, count shots, putts etc just look at the yardages etc but very pleased with their customer service. Have an old S4 in Naples Florida which works fine so the S10 is my "great white north " watch. Just wanted to update the situation.
