Garmin Xero C1 Pro vs LabRadar: Part 2 

The purpose of this video is to display data regarding the Garmin Xero C1 Pro and LabRadar. Overall, velocity readings did not differ. The main difference in data outputs is related to the different equations used to calculate standard deviation (see user manuals below for data definitions). The Garmin user manual accurately describes the definition of standard deviation and employs a calculation that is true to their definition whereas the LabRadar definition is vague and the equation used is not applicable to the situation. The videos show how the LabRadar, even with the sensitivity setting set to the lowest setting, detects shots fired from one and two benches away whereas the Garmin does not. This finding is an important consideration when selecting chronographs.
