Anyone here after hearing about Robert Miles' death? For those who don't know, he composed this song called Children which had a bit of its melody used in Rock Howard's theme. The composer of Garou: MOTW was apparently a Robert Miles fan, so he intentionally used the melody in it. *_R.I.P. Robert Miles. May you Spread the Wings~_*
Yes, the composer "stole" Robert Miles's work without giving any royalty or credits. As it is for a rather obscure video game OST, no one bothered for a lawsuit.
He stole K' hair style. K' appears in more games so they changed his hair style to be more wild, in his winquote vs K' in NGBC Rock says "You look like me" pocking fun at it.
Also I just realized. The reason it is called Spread your Wings it's a reference to both his father Geese. But also in Middle Eastern mythology there is a species of bird called the Roc. These birds were really big they were described as being able to eat small elephants.
Certainly they existed Those blinded by vengeance and those blind by ambition. But they don't exist Only Winners and Losers... Here THE MIGHTY RULE!! Garou Mark of the Wolves 2 in on Development...NOW!!
It’s really a testament to SNK’s music quality, when Sakurai is able to cram 50 tracks into Smash, beating out every single other series in the game (except for Super Mario), and I’m STILL left wanting more. The man gave us 17 rearrangements and original compositions, and still I’m here like “but what about Spread the Wings tho”.
@@carlbloke8797 I don't think it would be in this case, though. Remember, Sakurai literally went up to SNK asking which of 50 songs he could use, and SNK went 'Use them all'.
The Prince of Southtown has gone from being bottom 3 in his own game to as of right now being top tier in kof xv. And now he’s got garou 2 on the horizon? Good stuff Rock
Certainly, they exist. Those consumed with vengeance. Those blinded by ambition. But they do not exist here. Only winners, and losers. Here, the mighty rule!
@@000mjd No, it's not the same. Ken's theme may sound similar to "Mighty Wings", but it's only in the first 3-4 chords, it's even not the same riff, and it wasn't even intentional. Here we have literally "Children" main melody pasted in the middle of the track.
I remember losing to a player who keeps doing unexpected counter attacks. Now that I use Rock as my main, it feels satisfying counter attacking hyper combos ⬇️↘️➡️ + K
i could swear this has been sampled by some popular house/dance song about ten years ago. I know ive heard that exact hook before, but this the first time ive ever heard this song
In “Fatal Fury: City of the Wolves”, Rock Howard use three new moves: 1)Shippuken(Double Shippuken). 2)Hishou Nichirin Zan. 3)Power Geyser. Do you guys like this?
This is a crazy good arcade track. Can listen to for hours without it getting stale. Perfectly paced. I always come back to listen to it again when I think to.
welcome back Rock Howard and Fatal Fury. its been long over due but garou 2 finally happening. gonna miss the sprite work tho. R A G I N G...stoooorm!! be top tier this time please and thank you SNK. :D
