Just a short video showing the difference between Garrett AT Pro vs Garrett Ace 350. Both detectors have the standard double D pro coil. The AT Pro has a better depth and better trash separation. The Operating Frequency on Ace 350 is: 8.25 kHz and on AT Pro is: 15 kHz. Higher Frequency offers improved ability to detect small, conductive targets such as small gold nuggets.
2 Euro Coin (Composition: Outer part: copper-nickel
Inner part: Layers of nickel) Dimensions:
Ace 350 = 25 cm = 9.8 inches
AT Pro = 32 cm = 12.6 inches
10 Cent Coin (Composision: gold-coloured copper alloy) Dimensions:
Ace 350 = 22 cm = 8.7 inches
AT Pro = 29 cm = 11.4 inches

Very well made demonstration. I bought my first detector yesterday, the Ace 250. I can hardly wait till the snow melts to enjoy it.

The other part of the comparison is the price. The AT Pro is over twice the cost of the Ace 350.

Use your other hand ! You have a watch on that wrist. You just demonstrated the detectors ability to find a watch..

The 350 is a great machine and has made me some great finds. But AT pro has many more great features such as waterproof, great ground balance, changing tones, better disc, Iron Audio....So yes AT is better...

JaniJJ I am thinking on getting one detector. I have never owned one before.. I do not want to spend day finding nails bottle caps wire things of this nature.. AT how much do these cost....? Thank you for your time and God bless.

I would say the AT pro is Garretts top of line detector...I love how I can distinguish a bottle cap from a coin! Cant do that with a 350. So, It's worth the extra cash for sure. Read this website: thedetectorist.co.uk/what-do-i-need-to-get-started-metal-detecting/

Hi, It depends on which soil you are detecting on. But for example AT Pro on undisturbed dirt its about 8" deep for a nickel coin which diameter is about 835 inches.

AT Gold is Best for: prospecting relics coins. AT Pro is best for: coins beaches relics.

I have tested my friends AT Gold and after my short test I would say both detectors are very similar but If you are looking for Gold or other minerals then the AT Gold is a detector for you. But I personally like more AT Pro because it have a bigger sized coil and can be used also in saltwater. So At Pro is my choice.
