Sorry for any inaccuracies! Unfortunately I usually don't have time to extensively review everything in a mod so I learn the basics and the rest tend to be first impressions but if enough demand calls for it I shall research the mods intensely in the future to make them easier to watch!

Icthyosaur is actully in HL2, you only see it in the teleportation sequence during the first part of HL2. It being the only time you see the creepy as crap fish, Icthyosaur.

To answer some of your question Necros the Npcs in this pack excluding the assassin and guard are artificially made by some person, not by the company, the person wanted to reimagine what these NPC coudlve been like Because only concept art and models exist and the reason why these Combine units exist is because the Combine were originally more darker and mysterious in which they poison the atmosphere with tons of toxins from these facilities which is why These conscripts (Last military under the Combine bidding) usually wear gasmasks but they were to take part in the resistance.

Half life 2 had such interesting enemies, now we're just stuck with reskinned stormtroopers

.The Combine Guard was intended to be damaged by props from the Gravgun, to strip away its armor .The Conscripts were an undercover faction, working with the resistance, so i dont know why they're enemies

I'm pretty sure you kill the guard by throwing large items at him with a gravity gun, according to the HLwiki.

Just want to mention that the Particle Storm has almost no information on it besides Eli mentioning it and the sounds it makes but it was originally going to be an enemy in the game that would be encountered in the wasteland sections alongside Antlions, Houndeyes, Bullsquids and Gargantua's.

Actually, the hydra could have not been some form of creature, but it could've been some sort of energy creature created by the combine that was put in lower areas to clear out any resistance squads. and how it shows anger towards the combine maybe indicates that the combine could have had an impact on the hydra that it acts hostile towards any life form. just an guess

they have cutted those guys because a hacker once tryed to crack the game before hl2 was fully ready

Fun fact, Crabsyths are in HL2, but much like the Icthysaur, they're relegated to a set piece (namely on the Stalker case ride in the Citadel)

Hydra was cut because it looked cool when other npcs were killed by it but when the player was killed it didn't really look to cool Plus it was a one man project

The fish creature was in both games. But in half life two it was just in like a 10 second bit when Gordon gets teleported everywhere. The fish thing was in a lake and swims to Gordon but he teleports before it eats him. If I remember correctly

the echtyosaur existed as an entity in half life 2, but it's only visible from a cutscene (when dr kleiner tries to teleport you) Right after you get teleported go into noclip and zoom out until you find a tiny folating island. the island is a body of water with the actual echtyosaur in it. Its animation is kinda whacky though since it is meant only to do one thing. but it still does attack you and can be killed.

I think they cut the hydra because its not fun getting attacked by it sure its cool seeing others fight it but when you get attacked by it all you see is a blue blob looking at you and then you're dead

In Half-Life 2 The Itchysoar actually shows up tempo as a part of a cutscene in the chapter "A Red Letter Day" During the teleport event. But he never shows up again in the game and I'm pretty sure that's why they made an npc for it

About the conscript The conscript is a combine Rouge or a rebel combine. The conscript is a military resistance group in half Life 2 cut game they are the remain soldier in 7 hour war They lead to captain vance Also the conscript weapon is randomize but the assault rifle is the OICW XM29 its a real life weapon you know

I think they cut the hydra because it didn't fit and because it was stop hard to battle. It was also a "pet project", being made for fun rather than plot or whatever, apparently?

Actually, the Icthysaur was in HL2 but it was only glimpsed in the teleport scene at the beginning. The Particle Storm was some sort of entity that the earlier iteration of Eli Vance's character suspected had some sort of 'intelligence' in there somewhere, it ended up taking his leg, interesting thing about that, it's theorized that the entity was reused for Portal 2, as the Sentient Cloud, a hostile skin leeching controlling formless entity, and I think that's supposed to be the Combine Overlord, like what the particle storm and sentient cloud is, it's an airy 'nothing' as described by Breengrub and some kind of physical manifestation of a parasitic influence born from a negative thought, what do you think?

The Hydra was meant to serve as the successor to the Tentacle Monster from Blast Pit in Half-Life 1. The NPC was cut due to it being unfair to fight, seeing as it would look more like a blue blob flying at you, and suddenly killing you. The Icthyosaur was included in HL2, but only as a cameo when you first use Dr. Kleiner's teleporter.

Yes ichtynosaurus was in half life 1 and 2 in half life 2 when you were going to be teleported to the Eli's lab you were accidentally teleported in lots of places including water or ocean where ichtynosaurus had his appearence.

i don't understand in half life 2 when the the incidence happend at dr kleiner's lab and started teleporting everywhere we see the ichthyosaur and then we don't fight him !!

The combine guards gun is a one hit kill weapon (in the hl2 universe) and more accurate, if he did get past the concept stage, he still wouldnt have made it into the full game. Im not sure why the hydra was cut, but an interesting thing about the hydra is that the tentacle you see is only a small part of a much larger body. Much like the tentacles in hl1. Theparticle storm was a "storm" that could take down tons of soldiers, the beta eli said he thought there was more of an intelligence to it.

The Hydra pretty much only had a place in cinematics and not really in combat or regular gameplay, so they decided to cut it pretty late in development.

The ichythysaur was in HL2 but not an enemy. Its only appearance was when the teleport to Eli's malfunctioned.

BTW the combine guard can only be damaged by the gravity gun.

You should do some monster mods like a vampire or werewolf mod since it seems that people are already getting into the Halloween spirit.

The military guys are called Conscripts, a cut Combine enemy that was meant to be the lowest tier of the Combine's military. They weren't given any training or special equipment, they were just forced to essentially be cannon fodder for the Combine.

The Sectionate Weapons and the Cut HL2 NPCs are removed from the Steam Workshop

I didn't remember those Black Mesa citizens being there I thought there were only ones for the Humans + Resistance tab, The Zombies + Enemy Aliens tab, And the Combine tab. Also, its pretty weird how the Black Mesa citizens always hold stunsticks.

The black mesa npcs had nothing to do with the cut npcs.

i dont think the realization hit him, but you cant go fast or jump high when you play half life 2.... so the creatures from xen are: vortigaunts barnacles headcrabs antlions (because they lived along with vortigaunts)

The advisor technically was in half life two seen talking with doctor breen after Gordon rode up the pods but it's still half life two in the episodes

The combine are actually an empire that spans multiple universes

I still have no idea why the Elite Metro Police model was never used, even if they did have to remove some of it's abilities, they could of just use the model for one Metrocop per squad, and have the ones that send out Manhacks use this model.

With these synth type enemies I think valve thought about a return to the zen dimension that would make sense as a final boss like half life 1 I think valve was original going to have Gman's appearance in the end of HL2 to instead be Gman transporting you back to xen (To his EMPLOYERS???) to Take care of the advisor where I think you would encounter the synth creatures in this video

Pro tip: When showcasing a specific addon, you can disable others to not look like an idiot.

Creamators actually attack only aliens, and i think it will kill you really easy if you try to attack him. I think in the original game, he is meant to be neutral.
