And yet I'm drawn to him, as I could only assume you are. He responds to the things that I respond to. Our bodies are perhaps, at the molecular and/or cellular level, in synchronicity.
I was thinking the whole time I was watching this, “I feel like I heard someone say somewhere that this man absolutely HATED being touched.” And if memory recalls, these guys were both on on Friday nights. I think Larry Sanders ran into Dennis Miller, in fact. I wonder if this was Dennis’ way of saying, “ I know you’re one of the big dogs here, but I’m going to enjoy a longer run than you, pal. You’re gonna deal with me touching you, bub.”
Miller was great all the way up to his 2010 HBO special. After that he lost his mojo, he toured with Bill O'Reilly and did spots on his Factor show on a regular basis. He made good money but didn't realize aligning with O'Reilly was a career death sentence. He's trying to come back in a small way but it's not working out too well.
Some twerp is going to watch this video and say Dennis Miller was foreshadowing Garry Shandling's heart attack when he feigned trying to resuscitate him. RIP Mr. Shandling
