I have even better pictures of Gary Hobbs than just the album covers. My mom and my sister used to make some outfits for many Tejano artist like La Mafia and La Sombra and Mazz etc. She was even God Mother to little Oscar. I could tell you many stories about La Mafia since their beginning and even why Leonard left the band, but those are stories for another day. Great show with a class act Gary Hobbs.

I notice talking about music that Mexican people don't like Tejano music or don't consider it like real Spanish music. Why?

Because the influences aren't purely Spanish. It's Country and German, it's a different kind of polish. Marcos Orozco has done a ton of covers and he puts the Tejano sound behind them and completely changes them. Makes them much nicer. Look up "Te Presumo" by Marcos and then the original by Banda El Recodo. Night and day difference.
