Very sad a talented man that died young Gary was part of probably one of the best TV programmes ever made

One of my all time favourite shows was Auf Wiedersehen Pet, used to love watching it on Friday nights as a kid with my dear late parents. I loved all the characters and actors but Wayne was my favourite. So sad , RIP Gary.

Beautiful tribute to the late Gary Holton a fantastic talented actor who sadly was taken to soon and too young gone but not forgotten R.I.P. Gary ✌️❤️

Series 1 & 2 were & still are the best of Auf Wiedersehen Pet. So sad Gary Holton passed away during the filming of the 2nd series 💔

gary was great in auf wiedersehen pet what a tragic loss of a great actor, loved watching this so many actors made their big break in this drama series it had a bit of everything in it loved the theme song to that's living alright joe fagan l think sang it what a stunning location and church having a spruce up by the looks of it,nice old cars to.

Loved Auf Wiedersehen Pet, one of the best shows ever shown on British television. Gary was such a big part of the show. It was never the same after his passing. Such a shame that he left us at just 32. RIP Gary! Thank you Paul for another excellent video. Your video's are so interesting. I Remember this Programme didnt watch it a lot, but enjoyed it when i did......Just to let you know Paul Yesterday Sat 3rd June we Drove to Rottingdean St Margarets Church (Lovely place and Beautiful old Houses) and Visited the Resting Place of Gary Moore, thanks to you showing his Location.....Looks like someone has Taken his Little Amp and Les Paul Toy Guitar away.......

Thank you so so much for visiting this lovely mans grave, it was truly such a shame and a shock to everyone, what happened to him and it effected youngsters like me to stay safe in the 80`s, Im now 51 and will never forget how lovely funny and so truly wicked he was in Auf Wiedersehen, Pet , and then to pass away so soon before his time truly upsetting then as it is now :(

Loved Gary in Auf Wiedersehen Pet, Especially where he Blackmailed Arthur "Tiger" Pringle with the seedy footage of him at Kenny Hames party at Thornely Manor. Gary was also in a decent band "The Heavy Metal Kids" he was a great frontman. Loved his voice. Also loved his "Squire" shout from AWP. There will never be another gone way too soon in the prime of his young life. I was 10 when Gary sadly passed away, I remember it like it was yesterday. I still watch AWP to this day. Thank you for this Paul. R.I.P Gary. ❤❤

I really liked Gary in Auf Wiedersehen Pet, funny enough the very first series was filmed exactly where Eastenders set sits right now. The big explosion at the end I could see from my bedroom window. Great video as always.

The last series he starred in was a great example of Gary's humour and talent, especially in the pub scenes with Arthur the landlord, just sheer fun. Loved this one Paul, thank you. Given that many of Auf Wiedersehen, Pets cast came from my neck of the woods, namely Tim Healey (Dennis), Kevin Whately (Neville) and Jimmy Nail (Oz) made it a legend.

Thanks a million Paul, definitely worth the visit. Gary was great as Wayne in AWP, I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve watched series 1 & 2 as it was, in my opinion, the best ever comedy drama seen on TV . Sadly I don’t think the resurrected 3rd and 4th series were as successful, just not the same without Wayne (Gary). The AWP second series at Thornley Manor and then in Spain were the pinnacle of this brilliant story of the hapless brickies and Gary was superb as Wayne, especially with his run ins with Arthur Pringle, Landlord of the Barley Mow pub ! RIP Gary and Wayne. I’ll finish with one of many of Wayne’s famous statements on life “……give me any income you want Nev and I’ll live beyond it….” !!

Back in the 1980s, I was a young teenager and watched Auf Wiedersehen Pet over and over on Betamax videos. He could never be replaced, very sad how he passed away. Thanks for such a great video, especially on the church Paul.

Remember the show with very fond memories, loved every character and the way they always looked ouout for each other, so hearing about Gary's passing midway through filming season 2 was very sad indeed. Loved seeing those old saabs Paul and sad to know that car company has gone to . Beautiful cork model of the church too .
