I loved the Berserker album, image and overall sound (ppg wave) but totally get that people may not have been into this as a single. Not exactly radio-friendly. So in hindsight I can sort of see why Radio One didn't play it at the time. Some of the cr@p that they did play though! 😂 Still love it. Looking forward to BMG rereleasing this and Fury etc in the near future 🤞
This was a weird time for Numan, he really began to fall from grace after Berserker etc.Have to say this song and others from around the same time were not as strong as his earlier 70's work.
At last someone to whom thinks the same as me ! After this as of The Fury was when i started to seriously go off him . There was the odd track that was credible but for me up until Jagged i had no interest at all and seeing some of the stuff he done was shambolic , even by his own admission. But i have ti give credit that hes still about , but will never beat the 79-80 period.
because the British music critics totally wrecked his confidence and he was mixed up trying to do his own sound then trying to be more mainstream, those critics should be ashamed although they probably all dead! His music outlived them all ge influenced many many artists
