Music can trigger so many emotions and memories. 'Cars' by Gary Numan instantly takes me back to the feeling of being at house parties with my friends just after I finished school. It's getting the Friday Funk Jam treatment today with synths courtesy of ARP, Moog, Roland and Sequential Circuits. 🕺

I found the preset #217 with some minor tweaking on the modern Prophet 5 is the perfect sound for the opening.

I am enjoying the videos. You can obviously play... and I love seeing the collection of vintage synths used. But I am curious, even though these are "your" recreations, what was the choice to play all the lines staccato. Why not play the lead line legato? Keep up the great work. Love the short videos

Thank you for your efforts.. :)). Much over thought. I’m still waiting for Human League “don’t you want me”. I can not figure that lead synth…. It’s just so attack and thick.
