Gary Numan/Tubeway Army - Are Friends Electric - Roland JP-08 Cover (Instrumental)

A quick and simple instrumental version of Gary Numan's Are Friends Electric played on a Roland JP-08. No signal processing was used - what you hear is straight from the JP-08. I used the pitch bender to transpose up an octave every now and then. While this isn't a tutorial or a "how to play" video, hopefully it might be useful to someone learning this song. Enjoy!
A vintage song on a modern keyboard by a vintage guy.
Tubeway Army released the song Are "Friends" Electric? on the album Replicas in 1979.
Roland released the JP-08 in 2015.

One of my favorites was watching him play "Down in the Park" on Urgh! a Music War. His modern performances look great too. Enjoy the show!

Brilliant loved the way you got round having only two octaves by using the pitch bender to jump a octave , bet that takes abit of practice to do it in time

Thanks for posting this! I'm not very good at figuring songs out on keyboard without visually learning it since I don't have perfect pitch. I knew it was in F major but there were too many holes to fill in after figuring that out.
