There is a chair in a British museum that Churchill used in an underground bunker during the war. He was under so much stress at the time, he left permanent fingernail scratches on the arms of the chair.

So...Batman(Christian Bale- ‘The Fighter’), The Joker(Heath Ledger- ‘TDK’ {R.I.P}), Cat-woman(Anne Hathaway- ‘Les Miz’) all have an Oscar. Shortly but surely -Commissioner Gordon(Gary Oldman- ‘Darkest Hour’) will have one as well. Not to mention Alfred(Michael Caine) having two, Lucius Fox(Morgan Freeman), Miranda(Marian Cotillard), Now we just need Tom Hardy(Bane), Joseph Gordon Levit(Robin) Arron Eckhart(Harvey Dent), & Maggie Gyllenhaal/Katie Holmes(Rachel). Then Batman, his allies, and villains(in Nolan’s Batman Trilogy) will all have at least one Oscar each. Tom Hardy is next...he has to be. Himself along Ryan Gosling are the BEST two actors in their PRIME currently IMO.

The title is click bait. Should have at least added "originally" to the title of the video. Gary Oldman though is a legend, and I was surprised when I found out after watching the trailer originally that it was him playing Churchill.

They're related, but very very distantly. The same noble family, but different branches. Sir Winson was a Spencer-Churchill of the Marlborough branch, Diana a Spencer of the Althorp branch.

Nathan Wenlock Right, my name is Indian. From the Punjab. I live in West London, in a place called Southall or otherwise known as 'Little India'. It's true. As for Churchill, you need to tear up your history books. Don't be fooled. Britain's darkest hour was more complex than just the war with Germany. Britain was losing its Empire and getting kicked out of it's occupied colonies. Namely, India and Africa. Churchill believed in eugenics to the core. All foreigners were inferior no matter how educated. He was a depressive individual. Go into Google and type Churchill, racist and read on.

Kulwinder Bhachu different times, different views. If it weren’t for him I would be speaking German right now and for that I’m thankful. You really think if the Empire didn’t happen India would be the powerhouse it is today ? I acknowledge that the British empire was horrible in lots of aspects but it’s prosperity is still being felt today in the UK. If it wasn’t for it we wouldn’t be the free, democratic tolerant country the world loves today.

When would the western world acknowledge the fact that Churchill though being a patriot and a British war hero was also a racist person who despised non-whites, manufactured a famine in Bengal killing millions, hated Indians, was against Indian Independence because he relished in India being Britain's cash cow.
