That's not necessarily true. People like him have a team of people that will tell them what they want to hear. That are slick and fast talkers so they can keep their position. Steve probably didn't know anything about it. Gary said he could tell how the guy was from when he first talked to him...

So... Amanda Seals talks about how Issa's publicist had something against her for no reason and Gary talks about how Steve's producer had something against him for no reason... the lesson is that sometimes entertainers have people like that working for them and they are unaware. Those people are good at kissing ssa and knowing that people don't want to tell on them or they will turn it around and make the person seem bad or like a hater...
