Funny story, when we moved our cat decided to run out and run away, we noticed a little while later and we searched everywhere, but we didn't find her, we where do frickin sad, we didn't even finnish packing... BUT here's the funny part, she was hiding in a pile of cloths in the laundry room just sleeping, that entire time, she was just there, short answer never took that cat for granted again

it’ll never amaze me that one of the songs that will guaranteed make me cry is from spongebob of all things. while I haven’t lost a pet before, my cat is very old and I’m absolutely dread the day she goes, she’s been around pretty much my entire life (she’s 16 I’m 18), and I also have three dogs and the thought of any of them getting lost (especially our sweet golden retriever poppy) destroys me. sorry I just needed to get this out somewhere…
Same my dogs 13 and she's pretty healthy but she's having trouble walking and hearing, she's turning 14 this year on December 10th. The reason she's still alive is possibly she fasted everyday her entire life, she loved eating alot because back when she was at the farm she didn't get fed much so that's possibly one reason why.
I had a cat named dodge, found him on the side of the road and he had been my friend basically since i was five, im thirteen now. We had to move house one day and i had to sell him to a good trustworthy person, his last ride in the basket of my bike as im tearing up, knowing i would never see him again. Hes in my home town somewhere, happy im sure, but saying goodbye to him broke my heart completely.
I have a dog who is 18 years, he's an old dog I'm gonna miss him when he goes but I'm amazed that he even reached that age-I'll be devastated but happy that at least he got to live his full life. 🥺
@@xseyho unfortunately, my baby meow meow passed in march 2022, we aren't sure exactly what happened but she had a rapid health decline over about 2 week and we had to put her down (she was so close to going, though, she was gone before the vet finished giving the anasthetic), her stomach had gotten very hard and and she stopped eating pretty early on, so we suspect it was some kind of tumor. i miss my buddy so much
It's kind of silly, but I lost my dog to heart failure on April 4th, and I was jamming out to this cover when the part "more than a pet, you're my best friend, too cool to forget, come back 'cuz we are family" hit me right in the heart and I started crying! My dog was just as awesome as Gary haha

I lost a cat named Olive that I take care. He's an outside cat. He doesn't like being inside but I take care of him. He ended up jumping in my aunties car to a nearby town and jumped out when they parked. So now his lost. It's been 3 months 😔 Edit: His still missing. But the most saddest part in my life is my cat, Dolly had to be put down because of a suddent Saddle Thrombus. She's been my pet,friend, and daughter to me. I'll miss her. 3/16/2018-8/10/2022
@segasonic4952 I saw him on a friend's snapchat story, but I was ignored when I reached out. But from what I last saw of him, he's being taken care of and in a safer part of the town. The town has a lot of dogs, and I hope that old cat is still quick and slippery.

I’ve been away from home since may 31st I moved to Yellowstone to work and I’ve missed birthdays and other holidays because my family wants me here and one day I found this song scrolling and it broke me so bad I called every one of my family member and told them I loved and missed them dearly this song is an absolute blessing and it always brings a tear to my eye even while writing this I feel so far from home and tear up thank you nasa for this beautiful voice

i know the song is just a meme, but it hits hard now that i lost my cat jesper the beginning of this month and i feel crushed. She was more than a pet, she was my family; she helped me through so much pain and hell i've been through in life. All i want is to hold her again and tell her i love her more than anything in the world, she was mauled by the neighbor's dog, had to bury her a week ago. I held her for an hour before i buried her and i fell into the grave crying because i couldn't bare the fact my baby girl was dead. I still have panic attacks in the night where i scream and cry for her, i miss her so much.
Im really, so so sorry you had to experience that. Losing someone precious to you will never not hurt, and it's crushing not being with them anymore. You deserve all the time to cherish the memories you shared, when she comforted you, helped you keep yourself together, no matter how hard living is, being able to be so close to your pet, for any portion of your life, is beautiful, and the bond you where able to form, even though it was stripped from you, i sincerely hope you have become stronger because of her love. Please take care of yourself. The love for a cat is something that can't be replaced, neither can your life, or the feelings and thoughts you have. Take care.

The ending chorus is amazing and I prefer this over the original because of it. He did harmonies that convey lots more emotion that weren't in the original.
I actually prefer this version in some ways. The original song’s singer was really talented and technically proficient, and I kinda think that was a detriment to the song. Despite the fact that this version is artificial and compressed and emotionless, I almost feel like this arrangement gives the song more space to do its thing.
