Gary V is my all time favorite singer He is a living testimony of God’s miracle As a teenager he was a a diabetic and was using insulin I think he is about 58 years old now

Warrior Is A Child is such a strong strong inspirational song. It can serve as a backrest when you're really tired of fighting off the sh#t of life. Every word of that song just hits. Goin thru something now and everytime I hear this song, i can't just close my faucet of tears.

He wrote a lot of inspiring and life touching songs but he is well known as Mr. Pure Energy and was entitled as the Michael Jackson of the Philippines. Just sharing some info you might need. He is actually a walking miracle. At a young age doctors said he would not live long yet he proved them wrong. Just a few years back he had a mild heart attack during a performance with his son at ASAP (tv show) and lived to tell about it again. He has been knock down by the enemy numerous time s but his faith always saves him. He is multi-talented, He sings, acts and dances. He known as "Mr. Pure Energy" you got to see his other performances. Please do react to him singing " Spain " on the wish bus. btw love all your videos, your reactions are so authentic. More power!
Gary Valenciano is a Filipino singer, composer, arranger, amzaing dancer etc. he’s a legend. He is the one who wrote the song, composed and arranged. And most of all he’s a Born Again Christian. Very evident He truly love our almighty God. He is type-1 Diabetic for many years. Same here and Born again Christian too.. We are thankful the life God gift for us.

Mr. Gary is almost 60 and it was a once in a lifetime chance to watch him perform and believe me when I say that the studio/recorded versions of his songs and the live ones sounded the same. It's as if he ate his own CD. He IS THAT GREAT. He sang those songs because he's been a cancer survivor and is currently battling with diabetes. He's one of the Philippines' icon. He's really amazing. Mr. Pure Energy indeed.
@@jamesedwardorendain5566 incidental findings bruv. He wasn't hospitalized due to his renal tumors, in fact he was asymptomatic. Him being hospitalized for a heart surgery is blessing in disguise. The doctors discovered his early stage of renal cancer.
Gary V is one of the well respected and premiere artists of the Philippines. I think it was this year that he got a heart surgery. I grew up listening to his songs, from Pop to RnB to gospel. One of my fave gospel song of his is Could you Be Messiah. ... It gets me everytime.
He wrote both songs, his own original composition. He's also married with 3 grown up children, in Philippines the wedding ring is wore on the right ring finger.

Maybe he reminds you of Al Jareau, Gary's idol. Gary's had been dubbed the Total Entertainer when he broke into the business in the 80s. That man can sing and dance like Michael jackson during his prime.

I Will Be Here was released in 1989, originally written and performed by Steven Curtis Chapman (who also listened and loved Gary's version by the way) for his third studio album More to This Life. The Warrior Is A Child was released in 1984 is originally performed and written by Twila Paris. She wrote it when she was 22 years old with the concept of family and inner spirit in her mind. Steven and Twila are both Christian singers. :)
Gary is a famous singer-song writer, dancer, actor, music producer and tv host in the Philipines. He is also a very religious christian even before he had cancer. Through his faith in God, and the love of his family he overcome and survive the deadly disease. As far as I know, he wrote both songs. Thanks for sharing.
