Hi Derek. I passed my ACS just now and the last thing i did before going in was watch this series, the flue gas analysis videos and the safety control videos. My tutors at options skills have been exceptional (Brian and Mikey) but i have used your teachings throughout training portfolio and ACS so thank you for your time snd effort
Recently became a service/repair engineer. Really appreciated this video. Company put me on service only as have zero experience get used to the boiler sequence of operation and also the system itself operation. Got 6 months study up for repairs ect so these videos will really help! Do you have one for system sequence! Appreciate yas! :)
So just to be sure I understand. Only once the fan starts running, then the air pressure switch, creates a switch so the normally open circuit closes and this proves the fan is running so the boiler can then Carry on and open the gas valve ect?
This short video is amazing! Gives me a much better understanding on the sequence of operation. Will definitely watch this one again at some point. Glad you have done this video (I love all your videos). You said the air pressure switch is to check if the fan is running. Is this the only purpose for it? Much appreciated Derek 👍🏻 Asian Jon. Training.
Thank you, sir; I have a question, please: Roca Victoria 20/20, if the flow sensor, the Hall +magnet sensor, it is only in the domestic hot water, circuit, faucets,if it is bad (or disconnected?) the CH,central heating, will still work perfectly, won't it? thanks; and again, a masters explanation was provided there.
Thanks for video Any chance for a video about gas fires: insert, DFe and how to differentiate between when on job. Alot of videos about ventilation but not many clear about how to easily and clearly tell which cat this or that gas fire fall under . Would appreciate that alot
I don't understand why it needs pomp proving switch in hot water mode. It had first the flow switch that is proving the presence of water in system and also means it's enough pressure (by spinning speed )
Brilliant. These videos are literally cutting down the time it takes on a job. Understanding what to expect from the boiler of a particular fault makes fault finding simple
