I love how this guy doesn’t knock people down who use gas grills,but instead gives helpful advice to them..he also shows that he is a real bbq master.. because he can use anything.!.... he can probably make some bomb ass ribs using a microwave.

Note to myself: Apply oil and rubs. Smoke for 2 hrs, at 250 - 270 degrees . Spray water after 1hr mark. Then wrap in foils, then cook for another 1.45 or 2 hrs at same temperature . Take ribs out, put them in foil trays and cook for 15 mins to dry the rib. Apply sauces after this.

I have a gas grill and I found baby back ribs on sale a few weeks ago. My husband said if I wanted to buy them I had to cook them that day! I had no plans so I figured why not. I came across this video and followed it exactly (I used butter for the foil process, it worked beautifully!) Those ribs came out amazing! I found ribs on sale again this weekend and decided to give it another go. I'm about halfway through the process and I already know they're going to turn out fantastic again! I just wanted to stop in and thank you for this awesome video. One day ill own a smoker, but for now I'm making do with my gas grill!

+HowToBBQRight Malcom Reed Help me out here. I have Maverick thermo and test it to accurate so I know it is accurate. When I make ribs like this with foil on my WK I simply can't let the meat sit foiled for over an hour max. If I do the ribs are falling apart and I don't want them falling apart mushy. I indirect smoke at 225 to 250 for 3 hours then when I foil I really have to watch how long they on or they get mushy. I don't add but a little liquid like most. Every vid I see people do same thing but their ribs are still needing more foil time at the hour mark. What is the deal?
@peechyman
@peechyman 7 лет назад
Jay Smooth sounds like u need to keep the temp at the 250 range and maybe cut down to 2 hours then wrap for 2 hours...also you could stay at the 250 range and smoke all the way out without wrapping them just don't go to heavy with sugar in the rub and you will get the result you are looking for

How many times do you have to refill the smoke tube bro ?
@SovalleR
@SovalleR 4 года назад
@@Dr.Ruben310 The key is to keep the smoke going.I guess it means as many refills you can spare to keep it going. I use 10x10 cm, double-layered tin foil pouches with wood chips. The last BBQ I used 2 but I should've used 3 or 4, since the smoke died before the ribs were done the first step. Hope this helps!
