Couch and Dorr: I Myself come from a different era of the Marine Corps and Army , where , NBC ( CBRNE, called Today) and MOPP was emphasized , since , during The Cold War , We had to face a Near Peer Threat from the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. Years later in 2024 AD , going on 2025 AD, I AM just learning to wear a protective mask with a plate carrier and war belt. This Tactical Hyve Video helps out alot. Thanks, ⚓ Mates!!

The boys are back. Something a lot of people don't know is that counter-WMD is a SOF core mission according to JP 3-05. Not a big deal during the COIN stuff in the GWOT era, but in LSCO (large scale combat operations) joint special operations forces are the ones tasked with addressing WMD threats.

Why? It's NBC. What does NBC stand for "No Body Cares" That was my first class in NBC training. Army use to be the best in it, but have slacked off that last couple of decades. We tried working on the HAWK Missile equipment with just the rubber gloves and booties. There were just some tasks we couldn't do because of footing and good grip. So if you are doing any mechanical type operations on top of fighting keep that in mind. Insect killer is basically Nerve agent. Paramedics carry atropine because can get exposed to it. It gets used more than you think. Also make sure your filter is rated for any agent that you think you will be exposed to. Also if you wear glasses think about getting inserts. Great Video!!!
