Local streamer has an existential crisis at a gas station. Originally streamed/recorded on November 7th, 2021 Editor: SwizzlyBubbles / swizzlybubbles / swizzlybubbles Main Channel / jerma985 Twitch Stream: / jerma985
Every time he talks about it, it makes me very sad, but I'm SO glad he is open about the fact that it's going to happen eventually instead of just keeping it hidden until he decides to quit.
Jerma likes to talk about his retirement a lot like he ISNT going to be in a nursing home making funny voices while his heart monitor beeps in the background while playing cyberpunk 3077 for an hour before sleeping on stream
27:39 It's the dead of night and you're driving in the middle of the desert, the tank is low. You pull into a gas station- for some reason there's a loader in front of the pump- and a strange man comes around from out back. He simply says "I can't- I don't have time to deal with you." and he whacks your car with a broom so hard you cross state lines. Does this justify leaving a negative review on yelp.
I think this justifies a police report. Not like they could actually stop him, of course, it's purely just to make sure it's on record. Pretty sure they tried to shut him down before, and got swept 3 states away
Jerma decides after years of streaming to join the workforce. He opens the door to his first interview, and before even sitting down, his interviewer asks him in shock. "wait... are you the sus guy?
Jerma's fake customer service is so funny. It sounds so fake and yet so utterly real in the sense some small business owners totally have that friendly but threatening demeaner. Like I appreciate that you want a good review but making people feel unsafe is not the way to do that. I wish I could give this voice 0 stars but I am only to give it 5 stars because I'm a massive coward and sellout
In my eyes jerma would be like the really socially inept coworker who is trying hard to say the right things, but all he does is annoy people and waste their time so he gets low reviews and gets sad
I like this sitcom world jerma lives in where your friend arrives early to pick you up and you have to invent some sort of lie to buy you time to finish getting ready instead of just explaining the perfectly normal situation
This is one of the longest edits on the channel...it makes me wonder why they don't do more longer edits, I'd certainly prefer hour long edits to 20 minute ones
Accidentally stumbling across this video and seeing jerma say "Itll be YEARS from now when i retire" and it being 2024 and its official. Crazy. And he did exactly what he said hed do.
Sometimes I like to watch the first few minutes of a Jerma video, and then watch the last few minutes, just to get a feel for how absolutely jarring it's going to be, with no knowledge of the middle events. He went from picking up trash and cleaning the surrounding area to using a broom to physically trap cars in his establishment, against their will. Dunno how he got there but, he did.
Imagine if you joined the stream at 25:55 and saw Jerma seemingly being annoyed at a bug in the game and futilely attempting to end it, and then he whips out a broom and sends it to the stratosphere whilst only saying "you will not be coming back" calmly. What a PSYCHO
looking back on these videos is so heartwarming. ik its just jerma goofin around in a random game but he made me laugh when times were rough. and thats all that matters to me. it doesnt matter if hes gone forever or he comes back tomorrow ill remember him for a very long time to come. thank you for the memories jerma and thank you for everyone who helped him share his personality with the world
Kinda wish I lived in America so I could _jokingly_ go to furry conventions and try different tactics to find out which of the thousands of fursuiters is actually Jerma985.
@@nohs8776 imagine you ask a fursuitter to go look at me but they run away instead , revealing they are jerma by doing the nastiest yoinky sploinky of all time as they run away , not on purpose either it's well known that the yoinky sploinky is in fact a part of jermas fight or flight mechanisms
41:45 imagine you pull up to a gas station in the middle of nowhere and you see the sole employee frantically running out to the back of the store carrying a turd in his bare hands before hastily flinging it into a dumpster and then taking his place behind the convenience store counter
I had to drive truck occasionally at a previous job, had to stop by multiple different warehouses all around the state. Not a single person was enough of a psychopath to close the door on someone leaving.
Been watching Jerma since he was a wee lad, growing as a person alongside him growing as an entertainer. He's truly a one-of-a-kind guy, but even though when the time comes and he steps down from being Jerma, I'll be sad, but also kind of happy. Knowing the guy I look up to ever since his silly TF2 moments is leading a happy life amongst all the real world chaos is kind of inspiring.
this game is so surreal, its perfect for him....like 26:32 ?? the red screen border like they're going to kill you for straying too far??? THE GOD-LIKE ABILITY TO FLING CARS???
I would love so much if Jerma could play baseball against Vinny somehow. It would be perfect, New York vs Boston. Jerma's Boston Red Scouts vs Vinny's New York YankMeats. It would be perfect
I think it's genuinely amazing that the wild success that was the Dollhouse Stream is going to be considered testing the waters. I'm excited to see the future streams, and glad to be part of the Jerma community while he is still around. :)
I love how the SECOND he realized you can push the cars the game stops being about managing a gas station and immediately starts being about how much he can fuck with the physics engine.
ah, yes, the alternate superman origin story where instead of moving to metropolis, he stays in rural america and becomes a gas station owner who /occasionally/ launches problem customers into the stratosphere.
“You’re not allowed to stop” Beyond all the ribbing and memes… messages like that show how much Jerma’s community really appreciates him. Not even joking, that was a surprisingly wholesome moment from the chat apes :)
I wanna see the commercials like "bring home the Jerma985 complete seasons 6 and 7 collection! featuring some of your favorite moments! *oh the misery* *the thingy face* *getting mauled by a bear* on a set of 2 discs!"
Dear Jeremy Elbertson, I was wondering if you ever had a rock solid shit. Like a brick. After eating nothing but noodles for a week. repectfully, Mr. Poopenheimer
There's a video where Ster talks about eating too many Fiber One bars, and Jerma tells him he's going to shit out a cube of concrete. That's the closest thing I can think of
The usual intro music conveys such a feeling of peaceful, yet joyous, excitement. Might be because the first time I ever got to listen to it in real time was when I made the very impulsive and irresponsible decision to disregard my responsibilities for just one night and try to watch the whole thing live - which actually turned out to be a great decision, btw. But even aside from that, it's just a really good track. Jerma without Blordow would definitely feel a whole lot different
other streamers playing this game: *runs a gas station* jerma playing this game: *summons deistic power with a pushbroom, attacks children with furniture, holds hostages, wages war on his customers*
i love that jeremy, rather than playing into the "furries cringe lol" comment, instilled a sense of vague dread into his chat with "i could be any person in a fursuit" /gen
52:56 Can we take a second and realize that he said the fucking Dollhouse stream was a _precursor_ to what he wants to do in the future. The Dollhouse was a monumental stream with incredible production value, and he wants to go beyond that. This guy is insane and we're lucky to have him. He does all of this out of genuine love for all of us and pure enjoyment of it. He's truly incredible, honest to god best streamer of possibly all time.
when jerma said the cigarettes are really bad for you i actually had a flashback to my coworker going on and on for a good 10 minutes about how this guy shouldn't buy cigarettes because they're bad for him. like i swear to god he said word for word what jerma just said
@@rowanmilestaco4797 I just looked and holy shit you responded to EVERY single top comment on this video just about lol. Dedication for sure. Edit: WAIT ITS LIKE EVERY COMMENT
Every time jerma talks about retiring all I can think about is when he said he'd do the bit where he says "if I die I'm deleting my twitch account" and actually does it
Really long Jerma985 videos can contain heavy subjects like what he'll do after his streaming career ends and intergrating himself into the job sector after a decade plus of being a public figure for that time On the flipside there's chat goating him into howling during the topic of being a furry
2021 Jerma: It’s not gonna happen for A LONG time. 2024 Jerma: I am retired, BUT I will stream the new Elden Ring DLC EVERY DAY until I BEAT IT! I wish I could retire like that…
29:44 as a cashier I can confirm customers sometimes really do get upset when they get shit for free/cheaper, because there is lead in the water or something. most realistic game of all time
"Don't be sad, it's not happening for a long time" is literally the line we had to give our 5-year old daughter when she did that kid thing and freaked out about us dying, lol
Now I'm going to have dreams where Jerma announces his retirement, then I live a year of my life in the dream, and then he retires and I wake up crying
